What are the primary words of the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick?

Many Christians argue that since humans are such complex organisms, we MUST have created by something/someone greater than we could ever imagine.

Yet, this complexity is exactly what makes me a non-believer. I believe that comlex design is the result of natural selection and evolution, not some God.

I was just curious as to what you guys think. :o)

(Matthew 7:20-to-23) Therefore by their fruits you shall know them.

(Mat 7:21) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.

(Mat 7:22) Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works?

(Mat 7:23) And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!

HOW Many "Are Not" going 'THAT THINK They Are?'

Few?

Some?

Many?

Thanks, RR

Is there a system of ethics that is absolute. Who made this standard? If you say that there do not exist absolutes.... can you say that with absolute certainty?

Verily Satan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his adherents, that they may become Companions of the Blazing Fire.

7. For those who reject Allah, is a terrible Penalty: but for those who believe and work righteous deeds, is Forgiveness, and a magnificent Reward.

Like worshipping Mary or the saints, buying salvation, etc.? Especially since they wrote the Bible and all... you'd expect that they wouldn't be so foolish as to contradict the book they wrote...?

"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." (Matthew 19:24)

Surely if you have a computer and enough time to visit Yahoo Answers, then you would be judged rich by the standards of the times that this quote was originally written?

So as everyone here is not going "to enter into the kingdom of God." Why are there so many Christians here?

Is there a mistake with my Bible?

"I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it" Matthew 16:18

Christ promised that his Church would never fall into error, therefore, since the Catholic Church is the only church to have existed since the time of Christ are you willing to say that Jesus is a liar, and that the Catholic Church did fall into doctrinal error? [the church clergy are sinners and many have been corrupt in the past, yet the holy sacraments and teachings of the Catholic Church are in themselves perfect because of the holy spirit's divine guidance as promised by Christ]

Explain to me the significance of sprinkling an Infant and calling it Baptism? Is it really about original sin? Do you believe that a SIDS baby would go to a place called Limbo? Where does this idea come from? Give me some insight on this, please! I grew up Catholic and I don't really get it.

Prayer for Harmony

O my God, I beg of you to grant me peace with my neighbor,
For I cannot enjoy your favor
If I do not live in union with my brothers and sisters,
I can preserve this union by mildness and patience.

Give me then, I beseech you, these two virtues.
Grant I may always speak and act kindly toward all,
That I may suffer patiently for you whatever wrongs,
Injuries and insults may be done to me.

May I not be angered or displeased with anything offending me,
But rather may I suffer patiently whatever happens to me from others. Amen

after one dies, what happens. I've heard people say that an angel takes you away to heaven and others say that the only light you see is your vision failing and then death. Meaning that there is nothing more. Is that true?? Because if it is then why did the god say that there would be heaven and hell and life everlasting. And that if in heaven there are treasures. In your own opinion please tell me what you think happens after you die. Thanx.

Gospel according Luke23:39-43:

And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, “If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.” But the other answering rebuked him, saying, “Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss”. And he said unto Jesus, “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” And Jesus said unto him, “Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

First of let me say that I respect and understand your reasons for not believing in god and for speaking out against the tyranny of religion. I also do not like to associate myself with any religion, but what does disturb me about atheism is the fact that it sounds so bleak. The belief that nothing exists after death can seem a bit unpleasant. No reason for life, and no goals but what we set for ourselves. It makes everything seem so pointless does it not? Is life that meaningless? What about the bonds that we create with our friends and loved ones? What do we strive for as a people? According to atheism everything that is good and worth fighting for only lasts for a short period of time then just, ends. What kind of impact can it have on people around us? What is righteous now was not righteous in the past and may not be righteous in the future, but if we have something that never changes, an absolute that can never be corrupted by the hands of man, then it gives this life, no matter how short it may be, endless meaning. I am not talking about a god or heaven but a state of enlightenment, a collected consciousness that can carry all the knowledge that humanity has acquired and use it to reach the next level of evolution. I am aware that perhaps I believe this because “the truth” may be unpalatable to me, but if you believe that the only goals we have are the ones we set for ourselves, then I can say that that is the way atheists keep life from being unpalatable to them. Does this belief really sit well with you?

Some people invent gods, and willingly sign up to be part of a group. A group calls themselves Christians, another group calls themsleves Muslims, etc, etc.

Atheists never started a group. We just didn't wanna be part of any of the formed groups. It would be silly to start a group, based on denying the fantasies of others anyway.

I don't believe that raw fish is good for my body. I don't believe that I should start surgeries on random strangers. Yet, they never assume I'm part of the asushist and the asurgeons.

So, why on earth do people address atheists as a group?

For Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, to set themselves up on a pedestal and look down on Imus with fingers pointing out his wrong?....Now in no way shape or form do I agree with Imus and his remarks are callous, but Jackson and Sharpton are just as guilty as Imus, for they spew forth many remarks against each and everyother race in the world.

Thank You
God Bless
