The verb "create" does not apply in this context.
Biology, chemistry, physics, cosmology, and other branches of science explain how the solar system formed, how the first amino acids formed, how they combined to become self-replicating molecules with the capacity to mutate, and so forth. Once we had rudimentary lifeforms in place, evolution explains the rest quite nicely. No "creator" is needed for any of this.
As for why the universe exists in the first place, I have no idea - though I strongly suspect "why" is the wrong word to be asking.
If you believe there was a creator-god, then who do you think created god? Your answer to that question will probably be quite similar to my answer on why the universe exists.

As far as we know the origin of all life on planet earth is the result of natural processes. Either through abiogenesis or some other natural system, all life evolved from simple single celled organisms. There is absolutely no evidence for a 'creator'. Supernatural or otherwise.

Don't ask atheists anything, they will try to confuse you, and will try to put on you, Evil and negativity's, that you don't need, more than what I try to put on you, when I answer you other question. with I did! remember that existentialism is practice from with-in.
