Gospel according Luke23:39-43:

And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, “If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.” But the other answering rebuked him, saying, “Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss”. And he said unto Jesus, “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” And Jesus said unto him, “Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

He was "allowed" because Jesus paid the price for his crime and the thief accepted the pardon made available to him by it.

The man 1. recognized that he was worthy of condemnation by God (he knew he was a sinner) 2. he recognized that Jesus was not a sinner, but was the Messiah, the Lord and King 3. He asked Jesus to help him gain eternal life("Remember me..").

Anyone who recognizes these same truths and asks for Jesus' eternal life will enter in to Jesus' kingdom.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)

Nope. All sins are not to any extent further worth it. And it really is coming from someone who has been a significant sinner at circumstances i.e clubbing, ingesting etc, and now i'm repenting for it. i'd preferably be on my own, myself and Jesus perpetually than ever might want to 'indulge' in sinning ever lower back. funds, greed, attractiveness all those wordly issues human beings love, won't be able to be taken into eternal existence with Jesus. How can human beings be so blind at circumstances i ask your self. sturdy question btw :)

That's how awesome God is. He forgives even the vilest of sins if we simply believe in Christ Jesus as the Son of God and repent from our sins. That's what the criminal did. Thankfully he did it before it was too late for him. Anyone can do the same. We never know when our time will come. This choice should be made before it is too late.

If the crimianl accepted Jesus' saving work on the cross, you bet!!! Criminals are sinners just like we are (Romans 3:23) and the punishment for sin is the same no matter what the sin (Romans 6:23; 1 John 1:9).

First off it might help if you change to a not King James version. Second, God sent his son to die for everyone the druggies, the prostitutes, the murderers, everyone. As long as the person in question believes that Jesus is the only way to God and that he was such a wonderful gift to all he or she regardless of way they have done in the pass are free to enter into heaven.

The Gospel of Christ:

We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and therefore do not deserve to go to heaven. God requires death as payment for sin. Because we are imperfect, our deaths do not pay for us to get into heaven, God required much greater payment to resolve our sins. Christ was perfect and he offered himself to take our place in payment for our sins. God accepted Christ as our payment so we are now allowed to enter paradise through Him. The criminal on the cross was a sinner just like us. He entered paradise through faith in Christ's payment for his sins.

Christ the sp16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.[g] 19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."[otless lamb himself as ransom for the sins of the world.

He believed in His heart and confessed with his mouth that Jesus is Lord. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. Anyone who believes that Jesus is Lord and confess with their mouth shall be saved.
