(Matthew 7:20-to-23) Therefore by their fruits you shall know them.

(Mat 7:21) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.

(Mat 7:22) Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works?

(Mat 7:23) And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!

HOW Many "Are Not" going 'THAT THINK They Are?'

Thanks, RR

If you go back to the beginning of the paragraph, you will understand who the "many" are. The paragraph begins in verse 15: "Beware of false teachers....", goes on to describe how we can know those false teachers by their fruit. Then concludes by stated that many of those false teachers (who at the time will first call him "Lord") will claim that they were doing prophesies and miracles in his name. But they will all be rejected.

The passage has nothing to do with what the percentage of "regular" people there are that will be saved.

Many, read on. Those that build their houses on only part of the teachings will lose what they have built. Think about Jim Bakker.

The answer is many, because many think that their good works will take them to heaven.

Most.
Too many people insist on complicating the simple truth.

I would say many are not going because they live by false religion. Even though it seems real it does not follow his guide-lines.

Everybody who gets Saved (Born-Again, spirit recreated) will end up in Heaven.

The Will of GOD is for all men (male and female) to be Saved.
This is step one, to get Born-Again. When you get Born-Again, you know Jesus (HE comes to live inside your Heart (spiritman)).

If you don't get your spirit recreated and have the Holy Spirit living in their with you (spirits can do this) You Do Not Know Jesus.

ANYBODY can get Saved.
ANYBODY can come to know Jesus, by getting Born-Again.
The door of salvation is open to ALL.
Hope this helps.

Many. Even though they have done many good deeds, many think that they are going, but because they did not do god's will, they will not go.
