Is christianity about worshiping God or Jesus? It is said in the Christian religion not to worship idols, and that is what Jesus has seemed to become. At least that is the impression I get when I go to church or look at some of the christian profiles saying "I am a follower of Jesus," etc, and so on. It seems that we pedestalize Jesus and sort of kick him upstairs saying "OK, he was the son of god, but no one else." Nevermind the fact that Jesus said that we will do greater works than he did. Nevermind the fact that he quoted from the psalm scriptures "You are gods..." He said the scripture cannot be broken. What do you think Christians, are you idolaters?

If your friend died and was put in a tomb, and you came back the next day to find him missing, wouldn't you just assume someone took the body? Don't tell me "the stone was too large to roll away." Someone had to roll it there in the first place. This story was written about 10 years after the fact by Mark. Isn't it just possible that he chose to embellish the disappearance of the body into a "resurrection?"

People have stated that Don Imus' comments are not more racist than things Al Sharpton has said.
However my wonderful Irish father would say that men aren't suppose to talk that way about women.
Isn't that an issue?

You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!" [Psalm 139:16] So thats saying that God has planned everything about your life and has a plan and purpose for you right?

Christians is that not what that means?

I know according to Bible both're extreme sins. Do you think one is less sinful than the other ? And lets say a Man & Woman never committed Fornication or for that reason Adultery with each other but all they've ever shared is a genuine, pure love for each other in their heart - that has remained ONLY & upto the heart. And yes there is no obnoxious or kinky things going on. So is it a sin ? Because I know Bible says Love is the greatest so to Love is not a sin but to cross the limit & commit fornication & adultery is.

Micro evolution is proven, it is a fact, species have evolved to suit their surroundings. However, macro evolution (i.e. one species changing into another) has never been proven and there is absolutly no evidence. If this where true wouldn't there be half this animal and that half that animal fossils everywhere? I really and truly want to understand how they can turn minor modifications of one species into one species changing into another. There has been millions of dollars in reward money set aside for anyone who can prove this! Why doesn't someone collect if they are so sure that we evolved from monkeys, frogs, fish or what ever!! Where is the proof, if you can't provide it then you must accept that macro evolution is simply a theory!!!!!!!!

I have been wondering, I have a few Muslim friends, and they follow the Qur'an, I follow the bible. However from what I heard, the Qur'an does not equal up to the Bible, that the bible is the word of God and the Qur'an is something made up, so I ask this question in a chance to see for myself from both sides, which one is better, please provide me with good answers and not oneliners.

There is no God; it's like believing in Santa Claus. I used to believe in God, but my parents wouldn't bring me to church and I don't know anything about the Bible, so I gave up on trying to be religious and decided that I might as well just not believe in God, seeing as going to church is required in religion. I talked to various atheists and they help convinced me there is not God, and the evidence there is none is overwhelming. I converted from Christian to Atheist and it was the best move I ever made. So I believe there was no Jesus, there defnitely is no God. If God was real, the world would be in total peace, he would answer my prayers, and his followers wouldn't be fighting over him.

I've been seeing many question about somebody named 'Imus' today. From what I've read, I think I don't wanna know who he/she is. I have no clue who it is, that's one of the benefits of being European, I guess.

So, can you please all do me a favor, and not explain who Imus is?

As Eintein said, "A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties and needs; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death."

The perennial argument between evolution and creation has so far dealt only with the physical manifestation of life - the body, but no-one seems to have seriously asked those three little words.
What say you?

If someone said, "I'm not for stealing, I'm only for making it legal to steal"
Would that make sense?

If someone said, "I'm not for slavery, I'm only for making it legal to own a slave"
Would that make sense?

If someone said, "I'm not for genocide, I'm only for making it legal to kill an entire race of people"
Would that make sense?
