The perennial argument between evolution and creation has so far dealt only with the physical manifestation of life - the body, but no-one seems to have seriously asked those three little words.

I believe that WE are the Spiritual children of God, come here to earth to receive the gift of a Physical body (about 1/3 of us will not come here because they were cast out of Heaven with Lucifer).. and .. if we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and follow the commandments to the best of our ability then we will return to live with Heavenly Father in Heaven.

Consciousness manifesting itself in endless forms:
from humans to trees and animals that we know to distant galaxies and alien life forms so strange that we wouldn't have a clue.

I think we are important, perhaps it would be prudent to keep an open mind with regards to who made us and what will finish it all off. We are living, we are life. That is my non intellectual answer.
