There are a number of people who come to this forum that I have come to like because of the way they think, their sense of humour etc. There are also some that I have to admit I dislike because of the way they ask or answer questions.
Does anybody feel the same or am I really spending too much time here?

It's nice to have a little humor but in this section every question is someone trying to be funny,or putting down God,Jesus, the Bible, etc.Even the ones that seem to be serious are not because you can see by the writing of it that someone is leading you on.Atheists say they don't believe in God but they hang out here like they are in church. Why don't you go to an Atheist site. There are plenty of them & leave this one to the religious people.

I get angry when I see religions displaying Jesus in such a manner. Emaciated, bloody, helpless...
He is King of Kings. When was the last time you saw a Leader in a pathetic disgraceful position? Even Atheists must agree that for Christians to say that they 'love' the Christ, it is pretty disrespectful to crucify him still. Right?
If I were Jesus, I'd sue.

Is this prejudice and discrimination against the Mormons? If so, what should we do about it?

What's wrong with trusting your own judgement? Also, I'm getting tired of people answering questions with verses out of the Bible, I use Yahoo Answers to get REAL answers from REAL people, if I wanted Bible answers I'd re-read the damned thing!!!!

The man has been married three times, the first he filed for divorce due to physical abuse from the woman, the second was filed by the woman due to irreconcilable differences, and the third was filed by him due to physical abuse from the woman again. No adultery or cheating involved. The woman has only been married once and the man cheated on her with more than one woman that led to the divorce. These two have been best friends since high school but have never been together and/or involved in a romantic relationship. Can these two start a relationship now and begin to plan a wedding and a life together without the fear of having made the wrong choice concerning remarriage?

I am Catholic. My maternal grandmother was Presbyterian. They moved to a small town inTexas where there was only 2 churches, not Presbyterian.
Ministers from both churches came by to invite them to their respective churches, one was very disparaging of the other church. My grandmother said after he left, "Well I know one thing, we aren't going to his church. "
I heard a priest tell about family in East Texas who converted to Catholicism. What had impressed them is they knew a Catholic family that never had anything unkind to say about someone else's faith.
Why don't all of us realize the negative remarks about another's religion doesn't reflect well on the person making the remark and their religion?

I was reading a bit on Wicca and I found a book that said it is something that you must be born into. I dont mean born into as in like your family, I mean like you are destined to be a wiccan and you cannot be one unless you are destined. Is that true?

Jesus spoke directly to Paul long after Jesus' ascension into Heaven.

Why doesn't Jesus have lunch with people like the angels did in the Old Testament?

I'm getting mixed answers...I'm told it's wrong for me to get a divorce, but I'm also told it is wrong for me to leave myself and my child in a verbally and emotionally abusive situation. I'm feeling a little stuck right now, and I only want to do what is right. If I was Catholic, I was told I might be able to get an annulment, but is that really any different in the meaning behind it?

creationism and evolution?

Are people who believe in evolution left brained since that side deals with logic etc, while the right brained people are more inclined to be on the side of creationism since that side deals with emotion and such?

If so, then can we assume that it's not a choice, it's predetermined just like gender and eye colour? And if it is, then why should we argue with each other about it? we'd never be able to change the other's mind.

Do you chose to reject Jesus?-I did

Jesus says if you love me keep my commandments-and he gives the power to do his perfect will and care heart and soul! is that a crutch??

to say Jesus approves of rejecting Him-is ---well do u have principles???

yes Jesus loves you but he hates sin-did u read the bible??? I quoted up there some too and Romans chapter 1 -it comes from unthankfulness and worshiping a person instead of Him the creator Jesus.
interesting people who can not deal with truth-call names make jokes say lies, whatever

once i was on their side-I would tear up salvation tracts and throw it in their faces as they gave them to me. I claimed my sin was part of who I was, today

delivered like 1st Corinthians 6:9-13 says by the blood of Jesus set free to be the real me-to serve and obey Jesus. John 3 Jesus says repent and be born again to have the more abundant life and heaven to come =John 10

dont forgot to read my words above-to know Jesus from above
Crutch?
