christianity is a relationship and everything else is religion.
Every religion you have to reach god but God has already reached down to us by sending Christ.

What ARE the differences ???? Good Question
1. Christianity values the individual.
a. a muslim is just one of the masses
2. Jesus' died for His people
a. the muslim's prophet 'floated away into the air'
3. Jesus was here; 650 years before mohammad came along
a. mohammad merely re worked zorastrinism.
4. Jesus asks for submission of the will
a. the muslim belief demands it
5. God's Word is flexible (yes, that makes it easily misinterpreted and used for selfish purposes)
a. the koran is purportedly god's word (from god to mohammd and then dictated to someone who could write; and is not to be questioned or challenged)
6. mohammad united the arabs to fight others'; so, they'd quit fighting each other; and, to an extent that has worked
a. Jesus asked that we love one another and be pacifistic; and that has only worked to a small extent.
Please remember, the crusades were to "take back" the land and the sacred churches that the muslims 'took' by entering said lands and conquering (slaughtering) the peoples' there.

Here is one of the major differences to me. It has to do with accountability. Why doesn't the Islamic majority in the United Nation condemn the thousands of terrorist acts perpetrated by those of their faith? Because Muslims cannot judge other Muslims. Only Allah can judge them.
Yet when it comes to judging the infidel, there are no holds barred. They can set off bombs in buses and in markets, burn churches because of cartoons, sentence converts to death and thousands of other acts around the world--all with impunity.
Now, let us contrast this attitude with what the Bible teaches. 1 Corinthians 5:11-13 "For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges."
This is the polar opposite to Islam. The Bible teaches that the Christian is to judge the actions of other Christians and call them on the carpet if they are doing ANYTHING unbiblical. However, those who are NOT believers, the Christian is to leave alone, that only GOD will judge them.
So if Islam chose today to standup and condemn every single act of terror and violence committed in the name of Allah, you would see this attitude change overnight.

Since there isn't a real question here, I need not get into a discussion of the differences. They have a significant element in common: there is no validity to either.

All religion is just bull, pure fairy tales..
Islam, however, is far more dangerous.
It's devout followers are absolute nut jobs.
