No that is not true. Anyone can become Wiccan. If you want to research it more I suggest the site Celtic Connection, it is a forum for Pagans to communicate and ask questions. They welcome all religions (or lack there of) and will be glad to answer all your questions. If you have anymore questions I honestly think you should ask there because you wont get the people preaching at you that it is devil worship and evil, etc. (It is not, we don't even believe in the devil). Just type Celtic Connection into your browser and it should bring it up, I can't remember the address, sorry.

Umm... no. What book was that? Wicca is a new religion based on much older religions. You can't be "born" into it because most people have only discovered its existance within the last 20 years. The religion itself is only about 80 years old.
I hope you didn't read one of Ravenwolf's books. Most Wiccans widely agree that she doesn't know what she's talking about. Everything she talks about is alot like the tv show Charmed.
And Buckland is good but he's an extremist. So take everything he says with a grain of salt.

I don't really think so. While some personality types may be more attracted to Wicca than others, it's not the same as being born to be a Wiccan, any more than being tall means you're born to be a basketball player.

No, not really. It does seem that those who end up truly following a Wiccan path have a feeling of "homecoming" when they read about the beliefs of Wicca, sort of a "This makes sense to me and is what I've believed, now there's a name to put to it" sort of thing.
But I don't think there's any predestination to being Wiccan any more than there is a "predestination" to follow any other religion. It's just the religion that makes sense to its followers, that offers an understanding of the world around them and their place in it.

No, not at all. Some people have an easier time working with the energies of the universe than others, that's all. But Wicca is a spiritual path anyone can follow.

our path is not set in stone. when we are born there are many lines spread out in front of us. depending on which one you choose it may lead you to wicca or perhaps another pagan path.
every choice you make today affects what will happen tomorrow.
if you are drawn to that path then you can choose it.
eclectic pagan
btw which book was it??

That is completely wrong - sounds more like Charmed than anything. Wicca is simply a choice we make.

Would you be so kind as to share that information?
