Yes. There's no end to what one can learn in Judaism. It's about freedom and justice for *all* mankind and about living Life today -- not about death, dying, and some imaginary place called hell!

In actuality I did when I was called to become a Christian.
Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh.
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.
So then I am a Jew. The real thing.
I am also an heir to the promise.
Gal 3:29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.

I've actually considered it. However, the cultural aspects that appeal to me make no sense if lived by an atheist, so it doesn't much make sense for me to... granted, the Reform Rabbi didn't care one bit that I was an atheist when I attended Synagogue a few months ago, in fact taking it in his faith as meaning that that was simply what G-D needed me to be at this point in my life... like there was some lesson that G-D wanted me to learn that I could learn only as an atheist.
*ponders going to Synagogue again this coming Shabbat...*

No, I am not religious. However, it does bother me that three of my non-Jewish female friends were given the "convert or forget it" ultimatum, due to the matrilineal nature of the Jewish religion--and this from their *secular* Jew fiancees. Like I said, I'm not religious, but it still ticks me off that a man who doesn't practice would require their future spouse to change her heritage/identity for the sake his own. Same goes for any other religion.
Granted, it's usually the parents who are applying the pressure, but the groom always seems to support the idea in the end.

I am already grafted into the Jewish Root of Life through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 11:17). Being freely led of the Spirit(Romans8), why should I now put myself under the law of sin and death?(Galatians 3)
