Is it just because someone decide to peek into the ark of the lord?Sounds psychotic to me!

"6:19 And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter."

Where's the good and merciful god in here?Anyone can justify the senseless killing?

i mean when i was a child i believed in santa, now that im no longer a child i put my "childish ways" behind me.

will they ever put their childish ways behind them? believing in the great skydaddy who is almost identicle to the child's santa?

(they both have helpers - angels;elves
they both require you to be good to get what you want
coal burns, santa gives coal, and god actually sends u into a firey pit.
they are both supposedly loving people.
both are eagerly awaited their return by their believers
and neither exist)

grow up little sheeples.

The athiest Sam Harris won hands down, in my opinion.

"Anyone who rebukes a mocker will get an insult in return. Anyone who corrects the wicked will get hurt. So don't bother correcting mockers; they will only hate you." - Proverbs, 9: 7-8.

PLEASE keep this verse in mind any time you are tempted to argue with any of those fools who are only here to get a rise out of you. Arguing with them will not benefit either of you in any way; it will only stir up hatred, which is the opposite of what we are trying to accomplish.

When you get asked, "do you look at the glass half empty or half full"?

What is a good answer to that?

And all throughout the Old Testament there is references to "The Lord, Your God" , "The Lord God" or just "Lord" but with clear indications that His power is Divine.
There is no other person or being besides God and Jesus referred to as Lord in either the old or new testament.
One example of the NT reference is Peter saying "it is the Lord" when he saw Him walking on the water. This is one amongst many other references, so I don't understand how anyone would think that He isn't God.

Hey! Well, I'm writing a story about vampires and I needed some quotes/references from the Bible against those who suck blood and do devilish/demonic things as vampires do.
I am not too familiar with the Bible, myself, and I would really appreciate some help. Any other religious quotes/references from other religions are welcome. And could you state the references/where I could find them myself, please? Thanks a bunch! :)

I want to study the original text.
I want no twisted scripture, missing parts, mistakes, added parts etc.

And why do all those other little insignificant religions try and cut in. Don't they know no one pays attention to them anyway. They should take them selves to the Folklore Page.

If so great. Here goes. What are the differences and similarities if any at all between the following, Thelema, Hermeticism, Wicca, Druidism, Santeria, Candomble, Voodooo aka Vodoun, Hoodoo, Ifa, Shamanism, Animism, Yoruba, and whatever other forms that you can think of? I know I'm probably leaving some out. That's because I can't remember some of the other forms. I know this is a pretty vague question but bear with me okay.

Or does your religion have the confidence to know that people will eventually "see the light" of their own accord?

Faith is irrational belief, The bible is a book, not proof of anything. How can anyone claim to 'know'. This is the form of expression I hear from religionist types often.
