Prayer does not cost anything nor does it hurt anyone. If it offends people that's their problem for being in R&S. I believe it is completely appropriate in R&S to request prayer for people we care about. I could see it being inappropriate if we were in pets or science forums asking folks to pray but we are here where we should be. Asking for prayer is worth a violation however I can't see how it can be considered one. The very act of asking for prayer is a right protected under the constitution isn't it? We Believers still have the same rights as nonBelievers don't we?

You did not truly violate any rule. in common terms some one not from long island or Ca have been given their thoughts harm. Then they tattled on you. do not sweat it, I even have been violated for worse and function considered lots worse allowed. like the time the Yahoo answer Police permit step via step training on a thank you to slit ones wrists properly to facilitate a swifter bleed out. yet slapped my wrist for an anti unlawful immigration answer. circulate parent.

I would think it doesn't violate anything and whoever did that is LAME. I'm sorry but they are. I have a prayer request. I am a new Christian and so is my husband. He's been in a bible based drug program for 2 months and comes home on Easter (ironically) and I'm nervous for us both. Please pray for us to do well from here on out!

I don't believe that we are dealing with adult mentalities as a whole in this section....we should have put a period to the tattle-tale stage back in 3rd grade.

It would be one thing if someone was attempting to stir up hate and violence....but prayer request chatter?...silly angry people.

By the way, technically I would not consider it to be chatting anyway.

I had the same question removed once. Actually I think if anything is reported it automatically gets removed. If the time has come where people get reported asking if anyone needs prayer....we are in sad times, indeed.

None, really.... but people get picky sometimes and target others. I find it amusing when others are offended by such benign questions. Have a good day anyway... *smile*

Edit: I've had some innocent and fun questions deleted for "chatting." Hey... you're a christian and I'm an atheist, and we agree! Very cool...

I didn't read your question, but I can't see what rule this violates. If you "asked" anything it is considered a question.

To a person who hates Christianity, Jesus Christ, His Followers, God's Word,
maybe - it violates their fragile psyches.

They can't stand the smell of death.
2Co 2:15 For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.
2Co 2:16 To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life.
