What religion, or if you don't have a religion, do you believe in and why???

Right now I do not know..I'm reading the Bible and trying to understand Christian beliefs but I want to know what else is out there and if you are Christian which denomination and why you believe. Any information will be helpful. Serious answers only please.

Also I am having a hard time with the Christian belief that being gay is wrong. I have gay friends. If that's what they want to do, I am not going to stop being their friend because of it. I don't see anything wrong with it (besides the Bible saying over and over it's wrong..which I still don't believe the Bible I guess).

And how can you believe everything the Bible says without question? I'm having a hard time with that.

I am a Christian and I'm feeling kind of doubtful of my religion. Because Mormonism seems to have more detail about Jesus. But on the other hand I want to stay with Christianity, and plus Mormonism says stuff in the Book of Mormon that is against Christianity. My point is I just want to feel good about Christianity. So could you please tell me stuff about Mormonism that is just weird or against the Bible. That would really help me out.

My friend wore one of those islamic outfits to school one day to help my friend with a presentation. But she liked it so much she wore it the whole day and the day after that. The second day a security guard told her she had to take it off, saying it was against dress code. Now her whole face was covered so we figured that was what he ment, so she took the head off. A few minutes after that another security guard came by and told her she had to take the whole thing off. That's against the rules right? I mean she wasn't Islamic but we're studying different religions and right after Buddhism we're gonna study Islam. But not the point. Shouldn't my friend have the same right as the other Islams in the school to wear that outfit? How where the security guards suppossed to know she wasn't Islam? She could've been, it's a possibility. We're probably not gonna wear it again, but we're gonna talk to the principal about this and I wanna know what our rights are.

During this time of evil and non believers we need a leader to emerge and guide us through the coming dark ages and into the light out of the face of the ignorant. This is where i come in...allow me to further explain......As i open the eyes to all non christians for i have all the quality's needed, extreme intelligence and wisdom, i am a man of peace and do not believe in violence. I have a great look (not just attractive) but the look of a trust worthy leader especially to woman. I would also make a truly great general during the final battle and wars against the evil non believing . during the wars i would make several strategic war changing manuveurs that would make me more valuable than jesus but i would give the credit to jesus (another quality of mine is loyalty) for i have a special relationship with him (he's like a little brother). Please my children think hard and deep....will you follow me?

If this is the case then, why is it that each scientist only seems to find what has already happened and a famous person that was once around. Why is it that they don't ever look up this and find the code to this verse in the Bible if they can actually read Bible Code. If a bible reasercher reads this then please do some research on this verse in the Bible Revelations chapter We all need to know who will be the Anti Christ. It even says in the Bible " Here wisdom, he who has understanding Let him calulate the number of the beast for it is a number of a man. His number is six hundred sixty six" Could this be a code that someone needs to study? What would a Bible code researcher say about this verse?

I am looking for a church that has more contemporary music and a younger pastor or priest. Every church we have tried here seems to have an older crowd. Any ideas???? If you are from TX we are in the Medical Center area.

Is it safe to say that this verse says not only those that practice these things but those that except them are equally guilty?

Although they know the just decree of God that all who practice such things deserve death, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

Example: Fred isn't gay but he has friends that are and excepts and supports their relationships

Some of the most obnoxious people are people who think they have found the answers to all the "Life/God questions. They can also mislead those who are still seeking...Is it possible though, to be too narrow to recognize that some have actually found real answers to man and womankind's suffering? Such great civilizations living in the Americas in Pre-Columbian times would surly have left proof of their existence. We now have detailed knowledge of Meso American civilization and none of my Professors would endorse any part of the Book of Mormon. We know all about the Incas, Aztecs, Mayas, Toltecs ect. We know all about how they lived, how they died, what tools they had, what plants they farmed. Nobody ever heard of a jewish race of people living in the Americas named Nephites or Lamanites. The tools and animals they speak of were inconsistant with Pre Columbian times and no trace of them or the "Land of Zarahemla" or "City of Nephi" or anything conclusively related to the Book of Mormon has ever been found. If there was a "Great Upheaval" that erased their existence, it certainly had no effect on anything else down there. The story about the Lamanites skin color changing from white to brown because they were "evil" really ticks me off. Stop playing the race card .

I have discussed with people and used the bible as points of reference. These people will use bible versus as points of reference as well. Most people either will NOT acknowledge the verse as written or will say it means something that is not written. With this in mind does this mean that one's own image of God is based on what he/she thinks and may not be the same as other people's image of God?
