All translations have been translated as close to possible to the original texts. Who's to say that if God Who inspired the Originals, couldn't have also inspired the translators also to keep the original " spirit" of His Word intact? Nothing is impossible with God. I'm sure He guards the truth of His Word throughout history, as it has survived so far and is still the most popular book in the world.

Alexander The Great I think it was, had the original Scripts held in a huge library. Some years later portions of these scripts were burned by the Muslims, when they burned the Alexandrian Library down.
Just a guess. I trust what we have now, with the King James Version, because it's passed the test of time through all the schoars and such. I also have met a a PhD in Linguistics, who studied the Transliteration of the Canon to our King James Version, and he said it is accurate.

The original copies are no longer around, and the Bible has been tampered with. An Apocryphal book, II Esdras, had approximately 100 verses deliberately cut because they conflicted with the Church's teaching of prayer for the dead. The King James Version does not have them in it's translation (it used to be common to include the "Apocrypha"); the RSV turned them up in older manuscripts that have been found since the KJV was translated.

the original? the bible is a combination of writings of various authors placed together in one book. The original? I don't think that anyone even has any more than a guess as to when it was first compiled so how can you prove it was the original?
Was it written in Greek? or Aramathaian? Nobody knows this ...this has been lost to history forever

The original Bible and Gospel of Jesus Christ indeed still exists today. It was restored to the earth in the 1820's and God's church was reestablished at that time. It is known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

the bible is no longer in the original language it was written in, so that means some schmuck translated it, adding their own interpretations.
