Mr.3ofy, i don`t think that the armies that are in those countries that you`re talking about are killing the civil population... and to keep it on the topic, those british marines were in iraqi seas when they were forced by iranian navy into the iranian waters where they`ve been captured...

IF ( i am saying IF ), if they r doing this without a real purpose, so u have the right to say whatever u want
BUT
here they can do nothing to whats happening from British & American & Isreal & other armies that attacking Iraq, Lebanon, Palastine, Afghanistan, .... etc (without a purpose)
Put urself in their position then
think what u gonna do if u were in their position ??
How come u r talking about peace & u don't apply it
Is that peace is the peace of attacking weak countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, ...... etc

Religion IS. No matter how wrong the people trying to follow it are. No action of anybody will change the roots and rules of the religion.
Turn the other cheek and an eye for an eye. Those are quotes I know from the bible, and I assume most religions have conflicting language I guess. This just goes to show that if you ignore the underlying ethos, you can make religious texts say anything.

So what? How many times do you have to hear "judge by the religion, not by its followers" until you get it!? And if you cant help but look at the followers, why not look at the billion followers that are peaceful and not focus on the odd ones???? There are many terrorist muslims who kill innocents but their numbers are nothing compared to the majority of peaceful muslims in the world.

The only religion of peace is no religion.
If we didnt have religion to bring us down then there would be no fighting over who is right.
There would be no wars and people dying just because they believe that they and their people are right.
If the world didnt have a religion whos to say that there wouldnt still be violence?
Im not saying that killing wouldnt still be going on because we all know it would, Im just saying that innocent lives wouldnt be lost because of it.

Any person who shows such violence is not a follower of Christ.
Not all who proclaim to be Christians are, in fact, followers of Christ.
Jesus preached love, not violence, and even stated that the war was a spiritual one and not an earthly one. He healed the ear of the soldier after Peter slashed it off.
