I know that Good Friday is the Day Jesus died on the cross, and Easter Sunday is the Day he rose again. But I don't know what Palm Sunday is.

I was reading a history book, and it described Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, and Various Christians waging war for a variety of political and financial purposes.

But it described the reasons why the Arabs as waging war because they were inspired by the new religion Islam.

I can just imagine vast hordes are Arabs killing their way through the world, killing the king of such and such a place, and ignoring his gold.....NOT.

Blaming Islam for the rise of Arab power in the levant (yes it played a role as a unifying force, but it is hardly the fault of the religion) is just racist and stupid.

I want to collect stupid things people say about Islam....so tell me some of the really stupid ones you heard.

Should I, as a heterosexual atheist, be allowed to get married to a woman?

Doesn't God oppose the atheist lifestyle?

Perhaps there will come a time when Christians will protest the atheists right to marry, since their bible is clearly opposed to atheism and the atheist lifestyle.

own nose to spite thier face, to "prove" they cannot be told what to do?

The deal is you get to choose what you want to be and your status. Keep in mind you might not end up in heaven next time.

He became my First Love in my middle twenties even though with time I have taken him for granted. Isn't that what most of us do as time goes by with other things as well. Hang in there, he will never leave us OR forsake us. Thats a promise we can hold on to. Have a nice day ! : )

I'm athiest. Every single day I face people that want to convert me to whatever, and I get insults for it and everything. WHY!? I don't go around telling people what not to believe, why do they do it to me?
Please don't answer with a religious statement or any of that, because I've faced so many already, and it's not going to do anything but piss me off.

If your god is all-powerful and all knowing, why does your bible ONLY mention people, places, objects that are on the earth, and not anywhere else in the infinite universe? AND why your bible appears to be written by someone of average intelligence, with only the medical, technical, and scientific knowledge available at the time it was written?
