God's "True Church" does NOT celebrate Easter!!!.....They celebrate Passover................. Easter: Masking a Biblical Truth
In contrast to the general public, which considers Christmas the most important Christian holiday, many theologians regard Easter as the preeminent celebration because it commemorates Jesus' resurrection. As with Christmas, the Easter celebration—rabbits, Easter-egg hunts and sunrise services—have nothing to do with the biblical record of Christ's rising from the dead.

Where, then, did these practices originate?....... click on to this link and you'll find out the Biblical truth!http://www.ucg.org/booklets/HH/easterbiblicaltruth.htm

Christians believe according to Scripture, that Jesus came back to life, or was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion, is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through his death, burial and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in Him, eternal life in Christ Jesus. Without no Resurrection there is no Christianity!

There are real forces at work in Creation. It's wrong to worship the Creation, instead of the Creator. But one still needs to know how to work with these forces, and Earth Mother, for the benefit of Life on our World.
That is why the spirit that lived as Jesus Christ
rose on Easter. And ascended to heaven when He did. To compliment these Creative/Nature forces.

I think true Christian will not celebrate Easter, because it is not in the Bible.Really you cannot read it in the Bible that early Christian do celebrate or has been told by Christ to do it. They are not Christian, they are catholics.

God’s glory ‘Christians worldwide would think and refer to the upcoming holiday as Passover, not Easter, a subtle difference. Yes, the term Easter is used in Acts 12:4 (KJV), however, many other English translations render it Passover, as does the original Greek apparently uses the term for Passover.
Question; For Satan to succeed at his deception; does he have to eliminate what God says, or just change (in our mind) what God says?

We know that easter has some pagan in it, but we can try to think of Easter in christian terms to. you are either lost as an Easter egg or you can think of the egg as a representation of the trinity (if you believe in this concept of the trinity being one and the same and being able to act seperately to) The shell is God, Jesus is the Yoke (he will take your yoke) and the white part (whatever it is called)is the Holy ghost.

I wonder this too now? Christian claim to go to church every Sunday b/c of jesus resurraction (not according to the 4th commandment) What makes the week above all the other Sunday Christian go to church? I think its a pagen holiday.

They might as well keep Friday in honor of the crucifixion. Christ gave the ordinance of baptism in honor of His death, burial, and resurrection. The Bible never suggests Sunday in honor of the resurrection (or for any other reason, for that matter). We honor Christ by obeying Him (John 14:15)--not by substituting man-made requirements in place of His.

To celebrate that though Jesus died he rose from the dead three days later. Christians believe that Jesus is alive now in spirit and if they have faith they will one day see him in heaven. Some believe they have seen him during their live on earth.
