People who search the Bible looking for errors do not have the Spirit of truth:
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. - 1 Corinthians 2:12-14 kjv.

No, we are learning...once you begin to study the deeper and deeper meaning you find is so enlightening.
God teaches us from the scripture...we continue to learn and discover truths. Faith and Christianity is a journey, so as you progress scriptures you may have always known take on new (personal) meaning and understandings depending on where you are in that journey.

No. I read the Bible expecting the Holy Spirit to give me revelation of the word of God which is spirit and is life (John 6:63). God does not want us to discard our minds but to transform our minds by the washing of the word so that we can put on the mind of Christ. God wants us to have Godly wisdom and not earthly wisdom which is characterised by bitter envy and self-seeking (James 3:14)..

We study the Bible to be informed so that when presented with questions we can give intelligent correct answers, to know what is expected of us as believers in CHRIST, and to feel closer to GOD.
