Nature itself states that it does not consent to the homosexual. When the union between a man and a woman occurs, nature puts her stamp of approval on it, with the possiblility of a conception.
When a sexual act between two males occurs, what happens is essentially the possibility of the end of the circle of life.
Nature wants to preserve life, not end it.
As far as Athiesm goes, the USA is a Nation where you find the freedom to practice religion, or lack of, without arrest.
It is stated over and over again that many athiests feel Christians want to force their religion onto kids in the classroom, and that its not the place for it. Okay. But on Friday, my first grade son came home telling me that they learned how cool it is if you get to have two daddies or two mommies. When I questioned him further, I found out that they were taught about the wonderful choice there is in this country to either be straight or gay. We are talking about SEVEN YEAR OLD CHILDREN.
I submit that if religion is not allowed in the public schools, then why the hell is teaching kids to be gay allowed in the schools?
If you live in China, on Monday morning, you will be able to hear me yelling at the Principal of the school. I've had it.
I am bringing up a little boy to learn how to be a MAN, which is his gender, not a damned HESHE that they want to turn him into. Normally, I live and let live, but now this is coming down to my own child, and thats where I draw the line......if someone wants to be gay - go the hell out and be gay, but leave my kids alone. My son waited for his daddy to come home and asked him if he was gonna get a second daddy soon. My husband is fit to be tied.

The question here is not so much the opposing of a lifestyle as following the sexual guidelines in the Bible and for marriage. Having sex with a person of the same gender is considered wrong. Marriage was created by God (Adam and Eve) by his placing two individuals together to become one and it is that concept that determines what a marriage is today also. Although I personally disagree with the gay lifestyle, I do understand what they mean when they say they want to spend their life with the person they love. But, as marriage is interpreted today, that can not occur in most places and will be fought against by most believers (including me). Atheism on the other hand is a belief system that does not believe in God. That is a personal choice and has no legal definition nor does it involve a contract that would affect property distribution/ownership etc. In otherwords, being an atheist is not illegal and being an atheist is not a lifestyle...it is a belief.

Well i live in sin at the moment as an unwed heterosexual mother, living with my childrens father. But the church recognises my right to marry and doesnt god oppose living in sin. No its not gods view on what is right about the people we find companionship and love and sexual fulfilment with, its just a majority vote on what is wrong and i think the majority is wrong. I support a persons right to make a show of commitment to the person they love, and while marriage isnt a nessecity of commitment to me, i dont see why others cant make that commitment if they wish to.
Its really ridiculous and its nothing more than trying to force a certain set of beliefs on another. I really dont know why christians oppose it so much as its really none of their business who anyone sleeps with. If any country was/is opposed to christianity, tried to forbid legal christian marriage, well, you would hear the screams of 'intolerance' and 'unfair' and 'against human rights' from the moon. But its amazing how they are deaf to those screams from others.
There has always been marriage in one form or another in all religions. Its only because christians are a majority that they think they have a monopoly on it.

Does your marriage as an atheist go against the natural heterosexual relationship? Homosexuality is against the natural design of human sexuality.
But since you're atheist, I doubt you'll marry in a church...so your marriage will not be a sacrament...which means in the eyes of God you are only living together and not really married at all.

God gave Atheists the right to marry by Law. Its called the Justice of the Peace, or Judge. In a court house is where I got married - God has made this available to all.
Are you under the mistaken impression that all Atheists are fudge-packers? What are they teaching at these christian establishment - Lies? Are they inciting hatred? And they are supposed to be a benovelent influence on society?

As an atheist it doesn't matter what you do. But to have homosexuals come into the church and believe they should be excepted that is too much for Christians and it's just what these people who want to live in sin want to do.. So don't come to the Church and want to be excepted as an atheist. You will be met with the same resistance.. Now as I say this don't misunderstand. If you want to come in and attend our meeting and receive our instruction you are welcome as a visitor as they are. Just don't ask to become a member and stay with unbelieving ways or a lifestyle that shows you living is sin.. Yes Christian sin. We sin a lot. But we don't live in it. We see our sin and repent turning from it. If you or a person that was homosexual do that I will welcome you into the faith and call you brother (sister)..... Jim

it wouldnt be right for a Christian to protest against atheists getting married because they are atheists. we oppose gay marriage....because its wrong to marry someone of the same sex. atheists can get married to the opposite sex....thats what we want do we? and who would want to stop heterosexuals from getting married? the thing Christians hate is the atheism. i am a Christian and i wouldnt stop gay marriage...cuz thats like taking away free will...they chooose as they please. God isnt opposed to gay marriage cuz he is opposed to the life style. He is opposed to it because it is wrong! God can oppose anyones life style from what they do and their desires...but if atheists do bad things like all the time like rwally bad things....sure He would oppose the life style...but there are beginning Christians and He opposes their lifestyle cuz they still dont recognize what they are doing. God just doesnt oppose the lifestyle....but He opposes atheism. and when u live with atheism...most of the time...accoriding to Christians, ur lifstyle will be wrong...but thats not the main reason why God opposes atheism.
u are allowed to get married to a woman...cuz God wouldnt want people to stop what is right...would He? no. okay then.

God is opposed to any sinful lifestyle, whatever it might be. BUT, until you die, He's not going to hold anything against you, unless you choose to believe in His Son and accept His gift of salvation. Then, through the process of sanctification, He will expect you to slowly shrug off sinful ways. Won't happen before you die, but the objective of the CHRISTIAN is to live a Christ-like life, not the unbliever. With this truism in mind, I don't think Christians should protest any lifestyle. The world we now live in is not God's world, it is under the rulership of Satan, who must also act in accordance with God's will. God will again rule this world, but for now He's allowed Satan to rule, and soon He will allow Satan to have a no-holds-barred field day to do anything he wants for 7 years. After that, though, God will reclaim His creation for His own, and punish all who do not and will not believe His Word.

The Bible may be opposed to those that chose not to believe in GOD but it also supports your right to make that choice.
It's called freewill.
The homosexual also has a choice.
Gay marriage, is in my opinion, an oxymoron.

You know, you've made a really good point here. Apparently, it's another case of picking and choosing which parts of the Bible one wishes to follow. That's fine with me as long as what's being chosen doesn't infringe on the rights of others. Unfortunately, this issue does.
