Any day they pick a fight with someone who has a religion, it's especially celebratory if they fight with a Christian. They never pick on Jews or Bhuddists, Krishnas, Taoists or Hindus, and they're afraid of Muslims. And if you don't like my answer, you can kiss my black ***!

Most atheists (and agnostics) in the West celebrate two holidays every year, one that is a 'hangover' from Saturnalia (a celebration of the Winter solstice) that Christians stole and now call "Christmas"), and another that originally celebrated the godess Osiris, which Christians also stole and called "easter".
Both of these holidays are fine excuses to get together and eat...

They celebrate everyday, 24/7, 365. They are living like there is NO tomorrow and do not care or are Spiritually Blind to the Truth. Let them have today as tomorrow belongs to the Children of God, AND TALK about a celebration," you ain't seen nothing yet" When the Great Marriage Feast occurs, and the Bride of Christ sits down with the Bridegroom, there will be NO END to the Celebration of Celebrations.

They celebrate them all an more ..... as an atheist ... you don't really have a group code to live by. You live by your own conscience .... and that may allow you to celebrate any Holiday you wish. I'm not an atheist but .... an atheist can be more legitimate than many professing faith.

Not really one just for Atheists. I celebrate all cultural holidays.
I know that some people celebrate Darwin Day - the day of his birth, but thats not reserved for Atheists. I believe Darwin Day is Feb 12.

"I was an atheist, but I gave it up. No holidays."
-- Woody Allen
Howzabout: 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, British Bank Holidays, the Vernal Equinox, birthdays, anniversaries, Earth Day, Holocaust Rememberance Day.... Take your pick: one, some, or all.
I had a Jewish friend who LOVED Christmas and really got into the holiday spirit. He happened to own a toy store. :)

atheists are also human beings and if their members of family are not atheists, they will celebrate all the festivals celebrated by theists.ideology is relegated to second place. love towards, and honoring sentiments of our loved ones occupies first place.

Any 24-hour block of chronological time can acquire any psychoemotional signifigance we attribute to it. We do not rely on Churchianity to sacralize days for us, any more than we rely on Churchianity as our "only hope" for self-transcendence :)
