I am as you say, "religious " and I do not expect ANYONE to follow me or anyone else. I will tell of Christ IF they ask, and it is up to them to Accept Him or Reject Him. Its their choice and they are the ONLY one who has to answer for it one day. I do my duty to help spread the Word of God, BUT I AM NOT God. All I can do is tell of Him and what He has done for me personally.

Isn't it funny we all want to be unique so we want everyone else to be the same. If you say you are a Christian they immediately think bible thump-er , if you say you are Atheist they think Devil worshiper. If you are blond and from California you could be termed a Valley Girl. Like cats and dogs you are an animal lover. Say something against gays and you get labeled homophobic. Take more than one prescription and you become a hypochondriac. And on and on and on. But in our own little mind we may be agreeing with whoever them are. Kind of like the pot calling the kettle black.

That's what people do whether they are religious or not. Humans are drawn to things that are like them, and the way they perceive their environment. People who like comics tend to hang together, people who work out all the time, hang out together. It's natural to want to be around people who have similar interests as you do. Some people try to force their preferences on other people, they forget that you can't make anyone feel or think a certain way. They are lonely people, and are a good example of "misery loves company" in action.

For example, I like pepperoni on my pizza, I'm not going to be sharing a pizza with someone who prefers sausage, because I only like pepperoni. That doesn't mean we can't have dinner, we'll just have two different dinner entrees. We can agree to disagree, and it's all good in the hood. Can you dig that?

True

But hen even your question does the same - fit others into a mold of being fitting everyone else into a mold

Human beings are (un)fortunately intelligent and think way to much about what they see. Hence while a Cow accepts another cow grazing by its side without much analysis - humans love to use their empty brains overtime and turn to analysis mode.

Else how else one justify oneself's existence but by being an analyst !

God porbably gave us all too much thnking capabillity and we have not put it to the best possible use.

Yes, that's how people need to organize things in their minds, which allows them to respond. Depending on the person and their past experiences it's determined how much leeway is offered after someone interacts with another person.

If you knew the truth wouldn't you want to spread it amongst other humans. The same thing is about religion when you know and understand what is true religion it becomes your duty to save other humans from getting doomed.

That's what religion wants, when you follow a crowd you become part of it and all act alike....No God gave you a unique personality and a brain to think and use it.

Of course! People like to be able to catargorize people. It makes them feel like they have control over things. If they find something different about someone else it makes them uncomfortable. Thats why most people don't like to be considered different from the "mob" so they usually conform rather than be conspicuous.
