Genesis 2:4-"This is the history of the heavens and the earth...." The word history was numbered for reference in the center column, so I looked at it and it said "toledoth" meaning vast generations. I consulted with a jewish friend of mine about this (he speaks Hebrew, Latin, and Greek), and he said that he has been waiting a very long time for a believer to notice this (A gentile, as he likes to joke with me) because he says it is rather naieve to believe that the earth was created in six literal days. He said that most Christians need to really learn much more about Hebrew words and phraseology to better understand Genesis. He told me to buy a book called "The Science of God" by Geophysicist Dr.Gerald Schroeder who is also a devout believer in God. He said it will be the last book I ever buy besides, of course, my next semester college books. Your thoughts, please.

I believe in God and parts of the bible. I believe in the 10 commandments because they make really good sense. I believe Jesus was a man who died in 33 AD.

But whether he really does allow born again Christians to get away with sins by continually rebirthing themselves and letting God wash away their sins time after time, I'd liken that to the IRS loophole that lets rich people pay less taxes.

I just think we are all human and shouldn't rely on God to redeem us, we have to do some of the work.

I believe in love as the answer.

So what religion closely matches this philosophy?

Or am I doomed to pray alone?

Did you know that Daily Bible Study would help us hold to Christ and God’s love?

It can’t be stressed enough, how important it is to stay in the True Word of God. Don't you agree!

Faith is wrought with trials, happiness, enjoyment and even fullfillment.

But it's not the good I want to discuss it's the "bad" times. When something bad happens in their lives and someone starts questioning their faith. Or maybe just questioning their faith in general.

Some ask for strength in the lord, some may even question if god is real to give them this strength.

It makes sense that you would question the nature and viability of god. You are a real live thinking animal who uses logic and reason in their lives. Only a blind man wouldn't question what he believes.

My theory is this, when you question god you look for answers. You look for comfort in your faith. When something happens to make things better, be that the problem is fixed or time heals it, you praise god.

Is this the "personal relationship" that Christians say they have? I would guess I'm aiming in the right direction.

Jesus gave His life for the wrongs of all mankind, what greater love is there than that? Without your asking,or your pleading, before you were born, He loved you enough to die in your place for your wrongs, not His own, how can you disrespect that?

Ok, so I got some interesting answers on the last question I asked which has thus made me want to ask this of you. Would you please state just one thing, one scientific fact, that you believe proves evolution. Aside from what I've read and researched, I'd like to know what scientific fact that you believe supports evolution.
