Is it because then it will become obvious it is utter nonsense?
Because let me tell you, all I see is people left and right completely ignoring reason and common sense in favor of their religion. These people absolutely refuse to listen to anything that might draw their beliefs into question.

Is this a healthy attitude? For those of you who say your religion is the "right" one... how do you know this if you refuse to analyze your beliefs? What is better, living in blissful ignorance (the easy route) or taking the hard route and trying to find the "truth" regardless of what it is?

HOw far do you question your religion? Do you take all the teachings and beliefs to heart, or do you believe in most? Or maybe you just take the basic principles in hand and go from there? And how far can you question it without converting? If you question your religion please tell me what it is you disagree with.

If you, as a Mormon, were employeed as a historian and you discovered documents written by the hand of Joseph Smith which he states that he was confessing that he made up everything for some reasonor another. If you saw that it, nomatter what it was, was a very important historical document, yet would really, really hurt the Mormon religion, would you hide it?

I already know that you believe that no such evidence exists, but I'm talking about ethics. You know.... What if?

It's an ethical question.

If YOU KNEW that it was conclusive evidence against the claims of Mormonism, and that it would definitely cause many, many to disbelieve.??

I am very unsure of what it will be like after I die.. I do feel that there is something.. I certainly am not going to just completely disappear. So what’s it going to be like and can you actually put it into words?
Give me some substance; is it going to hurt to get there? Will I remember stuff, feel things, and see things? I just don’t know… would you need senses like this to recognize family, friends.. GOD.. I wonder….

If you, as a Muslim, were employeed as an archaelogist and you unearthed evidence that the Q'uran was "made up" from fables, or that Muhammad (pbuh) was hospitalized because of madness or that Mohammad (pbuh) had written a confession that he had made it all up. if you saw that it, nomatter what it was, was a very important archaelogical find, yet would really, really hurt the Islamic religion, would you hide it?

lets say if you were born in Thailand most are predominantly Buddhist and if you lived in Saudi Arabia you would be a Muslim. In America you would be a Christian, and then Christian branches would be break off down to different denominations like down south they're predominantly Baptist. I'm saying over all.

so my question is if you were born and raised in a different part of the world, would you be a different religion than you are now?

I get sick of seeing it. I think ppl are 'programmed' to seek entertainment, and this is one of the tools, because it shows up at all grocery stores I've ever been to. I wonder who reads them and why they read them.

On the other hand, why note have a selection of canon, spiritual books in the checkout aisles.

Or on the other hand, take the 700 billion spent on movies/music/TV/computer toys in the US each year and spend it on the needy/healthcare, etc. With 90 million Americans living in poverty, this would improve their lives much more than watching any movies could.

If u were pregnant and your ex-boyfriend kicked u in the stomach because he was jealous that u have a new man and are pregnant with your new man's baby, and as a direct result, u lost your baby before it could be born, what should be the charge?

Now, lets say that the judges in your state are very liberal, and your ex-boyfriend brags to u that he has a very good attorney and an assault charge could easily be reduced to a small fine and maybe one night in jail at the most. He also tells u afterward that he will do it again to u if you get pregnant again.

Should he be charged with physical assault or murder?
