That or weak faith

I'm not sure what evidence, if any, could disprove Christianity. Admittedly I am a Christian, but given that the truth of Christianity depends on historical events in the past and the fact that there is virtually no way to conclusively disprove claims about the distant past, it would seem to me that there is no evidence to disprove Christianity. Not to mention the fact that Christianity depends on faith and mystical experiences of the individual and not on scientific research.

Consider your question for a moment. You're looking to disprove the tenets of Christianity with another part of Christianity. I think you should read up a bit more on what Christianity is about before you consider that Satan will seek to disprove the religion. I believe that the place of the devil in Christianity is to tempt the believers from the path of righteousness, not to disprove the teachings of the religion.

Without the teachings of the religion, there's nothing for Satan to tempt the believers away from.

Think about it.

Highly doubt it.
Blame is always put there as many feel/see Satan as being a tangible devil, and a scapegoat.

Interesting that in Judaism Satan does not actually mean the devil, but one who challenges.

He does G-d's work by making it harder to choose good over evil, therefore giving it more meaning.

While I am of (Greek) Orthodox denomination, I do find that the best thing is to have an open mind...and learn from every religion..whether it be Islam..or Judaism.

I have always found it interesting that the Jewish faith is probably the closest to G-d given that they have kept their faith for how many thousands of years.
;)

Btw..check out the Islamic point of view on Satan...fascinating!!

How could one disprove Christianity?!? Take "The Da Vinci Code" for example... If it were true and Jesus was married, does that change any of his teachings? Nope and I am Christian (which means "to serve Christ, or Christ-like") "Satan" the word I think is used too loosely, we say "anti-Christ" and people think Satan (two horns, long tail and a pitch-fork) when in fact it represents everything that is against Christ; not those who don't know about him(Christ/Jesus) therefore not believe in him, but those who know of his works and deny he is Lord or are like Satan and go out of their way to destroy happiness/peace and ever-lasting love. Religion is evil because it leads you away from God and from the only one whom you can go through to be with him (God), his son Jesus. There is no way to disprove this man's teachings unless you can disprove love and kindness....lol BUT always remember that Satan has his little sticky hands in everything not of God, even churches, families, your boss or your car; he wants to destroy hope and faithfulness which means right after you get that promotion you've been praying for and spend the night in prayer thanking God, Satan is going to toss you a curve ball of having a bad day or worse: getting fire ....it's all a test of faithfulness, whom you serve and whats in your heart.
Satan can manipulate anything and he will do anything to get you to not believe in God or Jesus... he uses tools : sex, drugs, money just to name a few.
Anyway enough of my ranting and raving... There is nothing that can disprove teachings of love, kindness and mercy; unless you can show me that hate works better to accomplish things.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Love and blessings

Satan is unable to disprove anything. He is the father of lies, the great deciever. He is a created being, the same as we are. Created by the same God. How can he disprove his very creator? How can the created deny the creator?

Satan has been trying to "disprove" Christianity for about 2000 years now, and he has never succeeded. Yet on the other hand, he has never failed to deceive many.
