lets say if you were born in Thailand most are predominantly Buddhist and if you lived in Saudi Arabia you would be a Muslim. In America you would be a Christian, and then Christian branches would be break off down to different denominations like down south they're predominantly Baptist. I'm saying over all.
so my question is if you were born and raised in a different part of the world, would you be a different religion than you are now?

Of course where you're born can determine religion. It most definitely eliminates possibilities. How can one be a Hindu if they are raised by Christians who don't even really know what hinduism is?

Yes. A few people change religions, but almost everyone starts out in the religion of the area where they are raised. Usually they stick with it, or at least think of themselves as a Christian, Baptist, whatever, even if they don't actively practice any religion.

Rationally and Logically, yes, its very likley I would be a different religion, because of the amount of exposure to the doctrines, the people, and traditions of the cultural basis in the religion.
I hope, in my heart, I would have found what I believe to be the only way to God anyway, but I cant say with any certainty that would be true.

It doesn't necessarily determine your religion, but it sure has a lot to do with it, because even in say, China, a mostly atheist area, there are also Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, etc.

Karl Marx born in bahamas- comi, mormon
Hitler born in bahamans- nazi, mormon
Jefferey Dahmer born in bahamas- mormon
Nancy Pelosi born in bahamas- nazi, mormon
Coincidence? I think not. We obviously need to wipe the bahamas off the face of the map.

Possibly, but I think it depends more on what religion one's parents are.

If you were an African bushman, untouched by European society, you sure as hell wouldn't be a Christian. Kinda sucks to be them, then, doesn't it? (I mean, the whole going to hell and all...)

No matter where I'd been born, I would never allow a child of mine to be mutilated just because it suits the mullahs.
