I am very unsure of what it will be like after I die.. I do feel that there is something.. I certainly am not going to just completely disappear. So what’s it going to be like and can you actually put it into words?
Give me some substance; is it going to hurt to get there? Will I remember stuff, feel things, and see things? I just don’t know… would you need senses like this to recognize family, friends.. GOD.. I wonder….

My Gosh! Does no one have an imagination can you not “describe” (besides Mayank, pretty good ideas) what you think it will be like.. beside you weird atheist (who I guess… think maybe, their rotting body will turn to fertilizer, which will then nurture a beautiful tree.. which then gets cut down by mister logger turned into paper and then have my bible printed on it.. haha how that’s for eternity)

You will be reincarnated as another child almost immediately. For you it will be fat baby in Toulouse...The child of a hooker, and a customer..

The most commonly asked and unsolved question life after death. Each religion has its own philosophy about this topic. But all are common in this point that if one perform good deeds in life they are sent to heaven.A place where their is no pain only joy and joy otherwise hell where punishments are given to peoples for their bad works.
Actually the whole religion is basen on this kind of things.
Where as some says you will remain as a spirit or ghost. You will not get any peace and relief.
I have read this that some scientists have also favoured this because energy can neither be created nor be destroyed but it can be converted so may be it is possible that energy in our body is converted into other forms such as spirit. You have seen many films about this.Bad spirits, good spirits enchanters performing strange things on people who are under the control of this spirits. But no one still knows.According to some observations when a person die his body looses 21 grams so may be it is the weight of our spirit or many other things are also seen.Like those people who suddenly became alive after death due to modern medical science had said that they saw a tunnel full of light which gives a relief to body and met persons who are already dead or they were leaving this world and suddenly forced back by a rope and many more things. But still this question remain unsolved may be you need to contact some dead person or do a deal with a person who is going to die and ask him the same question"Since you are going to die after this would you please tell me what is the life after death"

Wow....a good question and one I wonder about myself especially since I've lost people close to me.
We do know some people have come very close to dying and they all seem to share a common experience of moving towards light....and I don't remember anyone describing pain or other physical sensations. Mostly emotional and spiritual (i.e. longing to reach the light).
As far as what Heaven is like if we get there (by God's grace) I cannot tell you although as a Roman Catholic I believe it is a place of light and peace and blissful happines because one gazes upon the face of God and our eyes are fully opened and we understand things that we never could here on earth.
Hope this helps you and encourages you a little.
God bless you and with His help we will meet one day in Heaven.

Well,I can't really say but I reckon the quality of life you enjoy in the after-life will be determined by the kind of life you lead on earth.I don't think it's going to hurt to get there and, yes, you will probably see and feel things, though not in the same way you did on earth.Your senses will probably be attuned differently from the way they were while living here and you will see things in a different light...that is,living in eternity, you will be enlightened. But you will be a changed being, because, while on earth we live constrained by time, after death time is ended for us and we become timeless. As for family, friends, and GOD,in the the after-life we become part of eternity and are joined with all that is eternal. So my advice for you is:do'nt worry about it.GOD has prepared a special place for you in the here-after and it is perfect for you.It is only after death that we begin to live.
Hope that answers your question.

Yer know that wrestler on WWF who wears that t-shirt with the motto " Arrive - Raise HELL - and LEAVE!
Well that just about sums up your existence .
It's up to you what to do to "Raise Hell" but when it's over it's OVER!
All these "Religious"types are all being "SUCKERED" into thinking that there is something BETTER after - SUCKERS!
Live your life NOW cause that's all your gonna get.
IF ( and it's a BIG if) there is anything "after" then think of it as an added "bonus".
Faith is nothing more than "guesswork-in-motion" better to go with that what you know and that is "I am - therefore I exist".
How is it going to be when I die? That I can tell you - BLOODY!
Probably SMASHED against some hard piece of landscape or more like some "prat" of a drivers even harder Mis-driven car - better still a BIG truck - even more bigger SMASH.
Just a pity me BIKE go to suffer also.
Viking, you see - hate to die in bed - with luck there is Valhalla but ain't going to let it rule my life now.
LIVE your life - LOVE your life - LOVE your neighbour.

As a Christian myself none of us are really sure
what waits for us on the other side
and I have had a near death experience
where I floated out of my body
something that never happend to me before
and yes this was a suicide attempt
and I nearly succeeded in my suicide attempt
just before I got to the E.R.
And I got a taste of what it might be like and death for
me is not so scary any longer or afraid of dying
And I believe if I really died last year
I would be out of my body so fast and be there with
my Lord Jesus in heaven and this is truth

Your soul leaving your body doesn't hurt.I have never had an out of body experience ever. But I know one thing If you are not right with God.Then you will remember every opportunity you turned Christ down while you suffer in Hell. And Hell is not the grave but a place of eternal punishment.

If you lead good life you can expect something good after your death. If you reckon, your performace as really offensive to the society you will have to be treated in a hospital called hell for treatment to enable you the pleasures of paradise.During that period you may from repentance over your misdeeds or jealousy while looking at those enjoying bounties of paradise.

You go to sleep at night feeling fine and thinking of all the fun things that will be happening starting your weekend/vacation tomorrow morning - You keep on sleeping without dreaming. There is no pain, fear, even any thought as to what happened you simply continue to sleep, This is one of the best possible events.

I was hit by a car in February 1972.
I went to a large room where a man in a black suit came towards me. Although It felt like it took forever, in real time, only four seconds lapsed between when the car hit me and when I came back
(It wasn't a hard hit. The guy was coming around a curve and hit me at 15 MPH. Enough to knock the wind out of me. I never lost my balance)

In the words of my 10 year old, noone can answer that. Whens the last time you sat down and talked to a dead person?
All anyone can do it give you a good guess, the rest you just have to wait to find out.
