I believe in God, because His Son Jesus Christ revealed Him to me.

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you receive the Holy Spirit who reveals Truth.

I'm undecided. As much as I like the idea of someone watching over us, someone to turn to when you're all alone, someone who's always listening, the fact is, there's no scientific evidence that supports the idea of "god." So I go through life mainly not believeing in the notion until something bad happens, and then I'll ask for help. There's no hurt in trying right?

i believe in God, thats all i have to say about that but would just like to point out a valid point here(or valid in my mind anyhow) creations need creators, order tends towards disorder, matter can neither be created nor destroyed/// all valid SCIENTIFIC LAWS (well save the creations need creator but thats just common since), there is more scientific evidence backing my belief then not

by the way God has a name, his name is God, as in Elohim... for the person who said God was afraid to give out his name, maybe you should do a little research to the names that God has in the bible

Because my family took me to church from the first time I can remember and I grew up reading and studying the bible as much as I could and realized there is a higher power and that power was God.

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Non-believer's case:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's case:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

I think a belief in god is necessary for good mental health. you see the older you get you start think about the end of your life and what comes after. If all you get is maggots it can serious harm your mental thinking, but if the Pearly Gates of heaven await you and you can see your loved one again then you can accept your death with a smile.

I don't really have a religion. I don't have on because there is no proof. I have always been the kind of person who needs proof to believe something.
