As a Christian, I was wondering what other Christians thought of the earth being hell in the end? God will take up those who wish to be with Him and the rest go to hell....maybe hell will be the earth without goodness?

Picture how society is today..now picture it without police, law, good and God....that might be hell the lost will face?

Just thinking here....

If not than why in the world do you need to tell a priest what is wrong with your life? Read your bible catholic John 16:23 " And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you." Jesus said that. So if your asking for forgiveness than why tell the priest when Jesus himself said ask my Father and he will give it to you.

If you feel he has the power to forgive than read I Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. I didn't say it, it is in the bible. Therefore the priest does not have the power to do so. I John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Please catholic study up on some of your teachings, ask your priest see if they really no the answers. I understand all catholic churches dont teach this but the vatican does.

Music in a service is there for a reason. I've asked about "Contemporary Music" and gotten some great answers. Thank you.

Now I ask ....... Is a worship service the place for "purely contemporary music?" That is ..... music of the style we hear on the modern radio channels (Christian Contemporary).

Second part of this quesiton is ..... does it matter to you folks if the music is just listened to and not sung along with?

What happened to equality of man? Do you really think you're any better than the people in Hell? Would Heaven even be worth it if people you loved were suffering for eternity?

So why the stupidity about "believing" in evolution. YOu don't believe in it, you understand or learn it. Just like you don't believe in math or you don't believe in the difference between nouns and verbs.

Unlike religion.

Jerry was also an alcoholic for ten years. He is an atheist and lived his whole life in a completely atheist environment.

He had no Christian acquaintances at all.

He also completely quit drinking and has been "dry" for seven years now.

If my aunt's deliverance was a miracle, what happened to Jerry?

If people can just quit on their own, is it right to call quitting drinking a "miracle?"

My Aunt got saved and quit drinking - she claims that it was the power of Christ that enabled her to quit.

Jerry quit drinking and said that one day, he grabbed a bottle and looked at it and said, "Screw this!" and never touched it again.

Both of them were bad alcoholics.

Was my Aunt's miracle deliverance really just some psychological will-power that she used her religion to tap into?

I mean, Jerry quit. He just quit. On his own. He didn't get saved - he didn't pray... Jerry is an atheist.

What's going on?

My religious and personal experience tell me medling in something like palm reading/occult can be dangerous, and that it would be best if the store didn't advocate certain religous or spiritual practices.

What do you think - Christians, Jews, etc.

The biography of prophet Muhammed tells that prophet Muhammed had a relative (Waraqa Ibn Nufal) who was a Christian priest and he used to meet him regularly.

The biography also shows that when that priest (Waraqa) died, prophet Muhamemd had NO MORE REVEALATIONS to the extent that HE ATTEMPTED SUICIDE many times.

The above story gives the following hints:

1- There was unexplained coincidence between the death of the Christian priest (Waraqa) and the sudden stop of Quran revealation.

2- Prophet Muhammed was too upset for the death of Waraqa and the stopping of the revealation to the extent that he attempted suicide many times.

3- There is obvious difference in the lnaguage between the Quran verses that were revealed before the death of Waraqa and those revealed after his death.

Does this mean that there could be some possiblity that the Christian priest Waraqa may have been the REAL AUTHOR of the Quran?
