You are erroneously confusing religious thinking, with dogmatic thinking. Dogmatic thinking is the irrational, unquestioned, blind faith found in many religions, especially fundamentalist sects.
To me it simply illogical to quote the Bible when supplying rational reasons for my faith. Quoting the Bible becomes circuitous logic, which is unsustainable. I only quote the Bible when in a group of people who agree upon the legitimacy and validity of the Bible.

I always answer without bible lines that is not my faith tradition. Although I don;t recall answering any of your questions. Religious should not be robotic thinking, but alot of people make it that way.

does.....not....compute!... [Rob I, Ch1,v1]
y'know, having a sense of humor helps...I mean, if you're worried about looking back on your life after you've died and regretting all this, I've got a bible verse for ya...lol
can you blame people for not having the answers you want? I mean, by virtue of having the question, one presumes that you don't have the answer either...so...be careful...you might just be a hypocrite.
...and I'm just giving you a hard time here for no good reason. :-D

Strange, I rarely quote verses but give answers I have researched. But then, I'm better at concepts than memorization. Many people understand what the Bible says and feel it explains it better than the words they would use so they quote the verse.
