Explain the Hindu desire for liberation from earthly existence.?

Hindus do not believe that humans die once and then either go to heaven or hell. cos its logical when u think about it. how can a person(who commits bad deeds) be condemned to hell for eternity?. Infinite punishment for finite crimes?

so Hinduism, on the other hand, has the concept of karma. and human beings take many lives to work off their bad karma . But we have to keep in mind that in Hinduism(and in buddhism too: cos its an offshoot of Hinduism) the only way to get out of this cyle of life and death is by achieving enlightenment,

when a person achieves enlightenment he does not go to heaven or hell. he is beyond heaven or hell. He/she would have become part of the entire universe( universes if we go by the super strings theory of astrophysics).in other words, she/she would become part of the universal force (some call it "god/goddess"). unlike in other western/middle eastern religion, Hindus do not think they would go to heaven and sit at the foot of god forever. They say "when a person achieves enlightenment (its also called self-realization; the realization that we need not seek for "god" elsewhere..that we ourselves are part of it; of everything in this universe)they become part of god. actually they were part of god/goddess/it all along, its just that they did not realize the fact!

like Neo in the movie "matrix" we are part of the universe but we do not realize it. when we realize it,; when we see through the cloud of illusion and preconceived-notions and realise that we are like the air inside a balloon. there is air outside the balloon too! both are identical.! only our ignorance of this fact (which is similar to the rubber skin of the balloon) that prevents us from realizing this truth!. when we achieve self-realization/enlightenment it akin to the balloon being popped! and what happens? both the air inside and the air outside merge into one.

This known as their system of re-incarnation,(the birth & re-birth) they cannot achieve their Target unless to be a Muslim, as per Islam one gets died last time in this worldly existence and starts eternal life of hereafter.
