It can’t be stressed enough, how important it is to stay in the True Word of God. Don't you agree!

God will give those " Perfect Peace " whos mind is stayed on Him.
Usually when a person goes through the day, in the evening they will take a shower or bath to get clean again. The same is toward your spiritual cleanliness in that a washing of the " Water of the Word " helps in spiritual hygiene.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness....!

No, and most of the human population don't have time for Daily Bible Studies. Between the work, the cleaning, the taking care of kids, I just don't have time for God. And I know he's not the one cleaning my house.

Actually, I do think you make a very good point. It is very helpful to me to read my Scriptures daily, and I have been failing to do that. Reading my scriptures helps me hear from God and keeps my focus on the higher values of life. My Scripture is not the Bible, but I thank you for the reminder anyway. God bless you.

I'd rather not study the bible the same way a christian does.

Things like treating everyone with respect is common sense. On the other hand, things like hating homosexuality are bad morals. So I think I can do better than your god at deciding what's right and wrong.

My mother made us go to Sunday school every Sunday and i hated it. The only thing i learned was all that stuff is a form of brain washing. No one is going to Brain wash me into thinking something i don't want to think.Even at a very young age i fount it hard to believe some of that bull s h i t the Church was handing out. so i don't agree with what you are saying at all.

~ Rezany...

~ Yes... how very true, that we need to be in the Word of God daily...

~ The closer we walk with Him... the coser He will walk with us...

~ With that increased love, the people around us will be blessed also, through experiencing the love that we are sharing with Christ Jesus...

Respectfully, no. I try my best to live an honest, thoughtful, and caring life. I try to avoid being cruel (sometimes I fail miserably), I try to be humble (sometimes failing worse than with cruely), and I try to look at things and see them as they really are, not as I wish them to be.

If your faith gives you comfort, I'm glad for you. But its not the path for me, or for a lot of other decent folks.

the true Word of God is Jesus. the bible is the word of God.

For all the thumbs down I suggest you take a history course of the first 500 years of Christianity and learn how the Logos (Word, capital w) is defined in Christianity in the Jesus era. Also to make the bible the Word (capital W) is to give it greater status then Jesus himself has. In Christianity nothing trumps Jesus, remember that.
