he died for our sins, to absolve us.....then why are people asking him to help them with math tests and football games? why would you have ton pray before that, unless youre going to sin? its the christianity that we're seeing now, actually the Antichrists opposite church, what most of you quoite everytday....cause ive read the prophecies...and i see similarities to the two (antichrist and contempory religion) with the selfishness, asking for help with stupid things (god helps those who help themselves) and with the hate of the gays, the arabs, and everyone who isnt christian. before you tell others they need to check themselves, i think the christians who follow blindly need to really read and think.....cause ya'll might be part of the antichrists plan...
thoughts?

if you dont agree, id like to hear why! please, i actually want all opinions!

Do those who criticizes, mocks and ridicules Christianity out of spite or "entertainment " as they put it with the sole purpose to offend ,do they do this simply because they were or are being brought up in a irreligious envirnoment and therefore they don't know any better or is it because they suffer from some kind of mental disorder of which they can't help it or is it because they have recieved or are getting very little or no love and attention from their own parents and relatives and therefore have resulted to degenerate attitudes & personalities to provoke people to simply get attention?

I'm going to probably going to get a lot of negative feed back on this but who cares, the truth must be shown. Is science a religion. They have their own structures of practices, and even believe in the almighty Big Bang. They have the doctrine of evolution. And are always looking for newcomers. So why don't they admit it and say that they are?

Creation came up first way way back before! Darwin's theory. I believe this guy invented this theory, because he did not want to recognized God as the creator of all things!!

Science does not have all the answers!! there's a lot more aspects to cover in life!! and God gave us his Word "The bible" to understand all the aspects in life and also to understand that there's is more in this life, and i know that A lot of you do not have any purpose in life!!

likes to call other religions wrong and evil. Have you ever once picked up a book about it and read about it? Or even looked up facts about it? You lump some together that have nothing in comment with one another. It is so ridiculous it really is..

As part of his spiritual guidance, we taught our son all about Creationism- the major figures, the claims, the reasons people are upset. We encouraged him to read the books of antievolutionists, who I will not call "Christians" because many scientists, like Darwin, are Christians.

We also gave him complete details of evolution, showed him the transitional fossils, had him actually read Origin of Species (which doesn't even use the word evolution) and discussed how scientific theories are formed. We went to a wooly mammoth dig and looked at bones, and he traveled to my lab where we discussed bacteria developing resistance to antibiotics.

While many of you will not believe this, we taught the other side of the debate to him with honesty and openness, as part of his education about religious movements in the US (not as part of his science lessons.)

How many antievolutionists have used works by actual scientists who believe evolution to teach their kids evolution, I wonder?

Just a few examples for those who are still in doubt . . .
The images below, with the exception of the first image, were taken directly from The Holy Bible in Arabic. Referred to in Arabic as al-Kitâb al-Muqadis (i.e. ,The Holy Book), this is the scripture which is used by Arabic-speaking Christians (of which there are still about 15 to 20 million in the Middle East). So that those unfamiliar with Arabic script have something to compare these images with, the first image below is a verse from the Qur'ân - which is the Muslim scripture. In the images, the Arabic word Allah is underlined in red so that it can be easily identified. Upon comparing the images, one should be able to clearly see that the word Allah appears in both the Qur'ânic and Arabic Bible images. Indeed, the word Allah appears throughout Arabic translations of the Bible, since it is simply the Arabic name for Almighty God. Insha'llah, the examples below will help quell the doubts of those who have been duped into believing that Muslims worship a different god - either by the hostile media or by Christian missionary propaganda. We hope that this serves as enough documentation for those who still have doubts about this. We could think of no other way to prove this point, except to encourage everyone to do further critical and open-minded research on their own. Please, don't forget to compare the images . . .

...where did they began? If you believe that we have evolved from them...

Ive asked this question before... no sound reply, because it still is not determined...

the theories of evolution are as void as many unbelievers feel the "theories" of God is.

Christians are sometimes stereotyped for the Crusades (when a lot of non Christians were killed) this however was not a Christian act but an act of some noble men with money and power! In the Bible it teaches us to love our enemies!
In the Qu,ran (Koran) it teaches of love too!
Muslims are probably the most stereotyped because of the instability in some Muslim countries (there is also a lot of instability in non-muslim countries too) probably because of the Americans and British getting too high and mighty (well thinking they are!). These people who attacked the twin towers or blow themselves up..are not Muslims, they cannot say they are because it teaches love and it has been said that jihad is a fake not written in the original koran (but a could be wrong). I just wanted to no why people stereotype faiths? Are they feeling insecure about themselves or their path in life or what??

There is a prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed about one of his companions who asked him if he could marry a wealthy beautiful woman with her only problem was that she was infertile. Prophet Muhammed ordered him NOT to marry that woman. After few ekks the man asked prophet Muhammad again and prophet Muhammaed again refused that marriage.

On the third time the man asked prophet Muhammed, prophet Muhammed also refused and discouraged his companions from amrrying infertile women.

Was that some kind of discrimination against infertile women?

what effect does this phrase and by extension, this mentality have on you?...do you, like me, automatically dismiss everything that follows or do your ears perk up and you get more interested in what that person is saying?

i liken this phenomena to what happens to liberals who hear the phrase, "i heard it on fox news"...

Don't all things flow from your all-powerful God? Did he not create Satan, and does Satan's power even to do ANYTHING not flow with God's blessing?

If so, then how are all bad things and tests of faith Satan's fault and not God's? Isn't Satan merely doing what God allows him to do, and can it not be said that since God created Satan and allowed him to have the power he has, that Satan is doing what God desires that Satan do?

Or is it that Satan is actually just as powerful as God, and God has no control over Satan?

Which is it? Is Satan really just another of God's henchmen, doing the dirty work God desires to be done so that God doesn't have to get his hands dirty, or is Satan just as powerful or moreso than God, such that God can't stop him from doing what he does?

There are no adequate answers to these questions. But it may be important to us that we keep asking them.

Stephen Hawking brings up these questions in his recent address at Berkeley. He offers the perspective of a cosmologist, a scientist well able to look into the origins of the physical universe.

Are there helpful ways of studying these questions? Not just the cop-out of a quick fix, such as quoting passages from one or another of the world's many bibles. Something thoughtful - and hopefully provocative of further thought. Nourishment for reflection.

What's your understanding? Why are we humans here? Where did the universe - of which we are a component - come from? Why is there something instead of just nothing at all?
