...where did they began? If you believe that we have evolved from them...
Ive asked this question before... no sound reply, because it still is not determined...
the theories of evolution are as void as many unbelievers feel the "theories" of God is.

Wingless:
I have studied evolution and am still learning about it. It only increases my faith in God!
What scientists are finding are as contradictory as many beleive the understanding of God is. Maybe they should give up... they have been searching for as long as God became knownst to them.

The fossil record does not record the beginnings of life because at that stage life was not of a sort which could fossilize.
We are, however, beginning to better understand the genetic record. If you are looking for someone to point to a fossil and say "that's what we all evolved from, we're going to call it Adam" you will be disappointed.
If you are looking for an explanation which encompasses all the variety of Earth's creatures, which explains both the similarities and differences, which explains the fossil record, and which can be seen in action over short time periods, evolution is the only overarching mechanism which fits.
If, on the other hand, you want a wizard who can pull animals out of his cosmic hat, you can believe in Genesis. Of course, while evolution has an abundance of evidence, Genesis has not one single bit of evidence more than the Matrix. Neither is provable or disprovable.
In reading your additional information, I am curious. Will you agree that if god created all the creatures of the Earth he did so gradually over the course of billions of years?

The theories of evolution are not void. There are tens of thousands of scientists, including biologists, physicists, and anthropologists all over the world that accept evolution as FACT. We are the only country in the world that still even ENTERTAINS the notion of creationism, and we are the laughingstock of the world because of it. Tens of thousands of scientists are not all wrong. They are certainly not wrong over a group of fundamentalist Christians with no experience or knowledge of biology, geology, physics, or anthropology, and who treat a book written over 2000 years ago by ancients (who had no knowledge of science, and didn't even know enough to wash their hands after defecating) as if it's historical and scientific fact. There is astronomical evidence pointing to evolution. Look it up on a non-Christian/Creationist website, or in the library. There's nothing we can't tell you that you can't look up for yourself, and we can't explain it all clearly in a forum like Yahoo Answers. That's ridiculous to demand that we do that and then insinuate that failure to do so is somehow evidence that the entire evolutionary theory is wrong.

The evolved from common unicellular ancestors. This is well discussed in evolution. I suggest a book called "The Theory of Evolution and the Myth of Creationism" for a good grounding. I will not claim it is unbiased-it is very biased-but because of its bias it intentionally provides 5-7 examples of evidence where one would've sufficed.

Well those that believe in evolution believe it all started from some grand cosmic biological soup with all the ingredients for life. What they don't tell you are the astronomical odds that the ingredients in that soup would come together to form life I have the odds written down somewhere but not handy. Sorry.

"Evolutionists would have you believe they came from microscopic organisms " Correct Mac Man. They can't prove it nor can they tell you where the original microscopic organisms came from.
It's similar to the big bang theory. There was once a teeny singularity that suddenly expanded into our wonderfully ordered universe. But scientists admit they don't know where the original teeny singularity came from. That's not me saying it. That's from a scientific journal/web page.
=====
"Prior to the singularity, nothing existed, not space, time, matter, or energy - nothing. So where and in what did the singularity appear if not in space? We don't know. We don't know where it came from, why it's here, or even where it is. All we really know is that we are inside of it and at one time it didn't exist and neither did we. "

You see.... there's a difference between Atheists and Christians.
Atheists are willing to say "I don't know but I'll find out" while a Christian says "This 2000 year old book written by sheepherders that still believed the earth was flat holds all the answers mankind will ever need so I don't need to look any further".
I know which one makes more sense, how about you? At least the Atheists are willing to try to find the answer.

Science will tell you that all life, plants, bacteria and animals all evolved from a singe Universal Common Ancestor that existed sometime around 3 billion years ago. This ancestor split off into the three main groups of plants, bacteria, and animals in their single cell variation. Those variations went on to evolve into what we see today.

How do you know that in our VAST universe, where our earth is but a micropartical of dust in billions of oceans,
there is not abundant life on BILLIONS of planets past, present and future?
What would that mean?
Why do you need to know so badly that any ancient explantion would do,
even though back when the Jew's handbook was written,
none could even FATHOM what we know about the universe and life today?

incorrect. Evolution follows logic. Religion is based on a fairy book from 2000 years ago.
I'm not an expert of evolution, but the main reason why I see it as more valid theory is this: it explains how the complex life we see now came from nothing. Religion explains how something incredibly complex came from something more complex, and doesn't tell us how the complex diety that is God came into being. It asks more questions than it answers.

IT IS SAID EVERYTHING AFTER ITS KIND
Eccl.3:18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men,
that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they
themselves are beasts.
Eccl.3:19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts;
even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other;
yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence
above a beast: for all is vanity.
Eccl.3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to
dust again.
Eccl.3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the
spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
