It would have little or no effect. We can't even speak with certainty about what Heaven will look like, feel like, or be like now. So it has little or no effect on my faith. In other words, I don't follow Christ to receive a reward of a heavenly membership. I follow Christ because it's the least I can do for Him knowing what He did for me.

Also, I read you answer on Pascals Wager and found many presumptive arguments to help formulate your opinion. In the end, it is not the wager of getting into Heaven or Hell that leads people like me to follow Christ, it is Christ Himself!

And it's not about all the evil Christians have caused. If I were to think Christians are better or more peaceful than anybody else, I would be making a mockery of Christ's death. He died BECAUSE we are terrible people! If I were a perfect person, I wouldn't need Christ. So Heaven or Hell... that's God's choice for me. My choice is to follow Christ because I need Him. Thanks for the question. I hope this helps provide you another perspective on Christianity!

There is a life after death I have seen spirits or ghosts so I believe in God and I am a good person. I try not to make others feel they have to follow me..and thats it..I am more of a spiritualist rather then a religious follower of any sort. But I have been given years of proof of life after death. I feel totally grateful for the knowledge. There is nothing evil about spirits either..they want to be acknowledged that is why they appear.

My religion is ultimately based on teachings that come from Spirits, so my religion would not exist without the afterlife possibility. However, if I was sure that heaven an after life did not exist, I would become a Jehova's Witness, just to please my father.

Peace!

If I spent my time pondering what if, instead of actually doing something to cultivate being a better person, etc. it'd be a HUGE waste of time...
