Yes you can convert and there should be no frowning (because there should be none doesn't mean there won't be some)

reply: If this is not a troll query, my notion might be to have the swastika eliminated or get a coverup tattoo. It isn't an emblem which will mesh with Judaism, despite the reason that it was once a mistake from decades in the past. Ah - you're a troll. How unhappy for you that you just use faith to take a look at and get a upward push out of persons.

God said not to tatoo, as in the verb, not forbidding having [note you can't have allow it be done either]. This also was also commanded to Jews only. Non-Jews are allowed to tatoo as they please. Now that you have it you aren't actively doing anything wrong.
I would recommend considering having the tatoo removed eventually though because it would look really out of place. I would love to know if you don't remove them as I have never seen a tatooed, let alone heavily tatooed Orthodox Jew (P.S. go through Orthodox conversion only).

Im a christian Ex outlaw biker Preacher tattood and long haired...hey its about your heart not your outside appearance...if your religion is shunning you from what ya look like turn to christianity where the hearts the biggest issue not your tats man

I don't think there should be any problem.... although it's not allowed in the religion Jews have tattoos and it doesn't make them any less Jews.

The tattoo was done before the conversion, when you were not subject to the prohibition. You'll not be denied converstion for it.

Well there shouldn't be because you had the tatoos done before you became a Jew so they condem you for that.
