Do you think this refers to angels or to the "chosen line" from Seth? Any other ideas welcome as well.

I have read many statements here on Yahoo! Answers claiming that public school systems teach creationism instead of evolution. I have noted it to be the exact opposite.

If the public school systems truly want to be unbiased, don’t you think one of the following solutions is better?

Solution #1 – Creationism and Evolutionism are not necessary to teaching children the basics of science. These theories, therefore, should not be discussed in grade or middle school. And the theory should be an elective course in high school, if taught at public schools at all. The fact is, neither theory can be proven. And neither is necessary to learn chemistry, physics, or biology at these ages and neither theory should be forced on children.

I plan on joining my family in Pakistan to goto Haj this year so that we can travel together in one Haj package. Is it possible for them to also apply for my Haj visa? What documents are required of me (national ID etc.) or do I have to be physically present there to qualify for a Haj visa? If I can mail my documents and be issued a Pakistani Haj passport/visa when do I actually have to be there to join them prior to leaving for Haj? Need to plan job leave/travel/costs etc- thanks for any helpful answers.

Remember that scene in Star Wars when one of Vader's admirals was heckling him telling him he couldn't scare him with his ancient religion... Vader proceeded to force choke him.

That seems like a pretty convincing piece of evidence that his religion was something real... If Christians, Muslims, or any other religious group could force choke us atheists there would be more incentive to believe don't you think?

King James

(1 Corinthians 14:34) Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

(1 Corinthians 14:35) And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

1 Timothy 2:11-15 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. (12) But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. (13) For Adam was first formed, then Eve. (14) And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. (15) Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

If men are not superior in our society then:

Why are there not Woman Preachers. (In most Churches)
Why have we never had a woman president? (in the USA)
Why do men on average get paid more than woman for the same job?
Why are there no woman with great significance in the bible (non-catholics - do not use Mary)
Why is the woman absent from the trinity?
Why is God always a man?
Why did the woman come second when life comes through her?
Why are woman said to have menstrual cycles?
ect..., ect...

How can you say we do not live in a patriarchal society which is ran by Christians?
Have woman been brainwashed to think (the we came from the side of a man theory) means you are equal when reality says different?

The joys and glories of Paradise are as fantastic and sensual as the lascivious Arabian mind could possibly imagine.
As plenty of water is one of the greatest additions to the delights of the Bedouin Arab, the Koran often speaks of the rivers of Paradise as a principal ornament thereof; some of these streams flow with water, some with wine and others with honey, besides many other lesser springs and fountains, whose pebbles are rubies and emeralds, while their earth consists of camphor, their beds of musk, and their sides of saffron. But all these glories will be eclipsed by the resplendent and ravishing girls, or houris, of Paradise, the enjoyment of whose company will be the principal felicity ofthe faithful. These maidens are created not of clay, as in the case of mortal women, but of pure musk, and free from all natural impurities, defects, and inconveniences.
The pleasures of Paradise will be so overwhelming that God will give to everyone the potentialities of a hundred individual

I don't want to come across as sarcastic in any kind of way but here's my question. If someone hasn't really been a practicing Christian for most of their life and then one day prays so hard and feels God speak to them and they ask for forgiveness for things they have done to their spouse and God gives them forgiveness is it wrong for the spouse to still have resentment for the things they were put through? Is the spouse who was physically abused wrong for not giving that person forgiveness like God did? And also if the same born again person wants to make God a more active part of his life does that mean he should not feel any guilt for what he has done? Say the spouse is now being preached to by the person and being told repeatedly that if they just accept God (which they already have) they will be able to completely "get over" the things that have caused such hurt but they don't feel in their heart that things will truly change for the better, can God make me get over my feelings.

John 1:1 says Jesus was God

Jehovahs Witnesses changed it to say "a" God, but the bible said there is only one TRUE God...So what kind of God would that make Jesus if he was a God but not the true God?

1 Corinthians 7:
And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

it's the end of the world and judgment day is upon us. you have woken up and been reunited with your wife, kids parents etc. then at the time of judgment some angel says something on the lines of "Ok mr Smith we are pleased with your blameless life you can enter Heaven, but your wife doe not meet our standards and is going to Hell". is this what is going to happen and if so will you happily accept it or turn your back on God and join your wife

There is a prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammad that tells that when he saw a child girl riding a camel, he told his companions that he wanted to marry that girl when she grows up.

Is this the way that prophet Muhammed (who was 60 years old at that time) looked at child girls?
