I think the Baha'i qualify to be such. So would the Sufi.
However, they're not considered Muslims, by the Muslims.
Both these sects are what we would have called Muslim Reformists.
You see, they do not believe in praying 5 times a day and a lot of other things that the Muslims would consider rigidly applicable.
Also, there are a lot of people in the Middle East who do not strictly adhere to the Muslim rules and like the lady below me said, there are literally millions of Coptic Christians who've been there from before Mohammad and continue to live there, because of the traditional respect for the People of the Book.
In England, there are many born Muslims who love eating pork and their pint of beer, by the way; and they make no bones about it! In the Middle East, they don't do all that, but you can see quite a few who don't do the ritual prayer and all that.
Heck, the Wahabi Regiment that guards the Ka'aba are Muslims, but you will see them patrolling with a cigarette in their mouths while the prayer is going on. Doesn't make them less Muslim, because they are members of the Wahabi Tribe to which Mohammads mother - Amina, belonged.
Pax vobiscum, pax dominic.

I am a Muslim and believe me there are many. There are Muslims who believe in the religion and the five pillars, but aren't religious in the meaning that they don't practise it as often as they should. Like we have to pray five times a day and you have Muslims which don't, some don't even read the Quraan. Some would say that they are not religious religious, but still practise the religion and believe everything to do with it.
I have mates who I would say are not religious, but still believe in the religion. Like me I have been to Saudi Arabia and since then have come to become a better Muslim, I think don't know if God agrees with me though. But I do everything the five pillars asks.
For example Muslims are not permitted to drink alcohol, but many Muslims out there do. Me I wouldn't dare touch the stuff. We can't do drugs, a lot of Muslims do it.
But there are many Muslim communities out there where the people are very religious, and demands that from their children. I personally belive it's all to do with how your raised and whether or not your family are religious or not.

Yes there are none Muslims in Muslim societys however they are required to pay the Jizya to live there among Muslims. And the second poster was also right in saying that the church(mosque) and state are one. They are not seperate like in Christianity.

No. No separation of Church and State in many cases. Thus children get thrice indoctrinated... Home, Mosque and State (school). And virtually no exposure to secular concepts. Thus, most secularists that do exist are penultimate Free Thinkers.

Good heavens yes. People are people first and go with whatever's on their minds, some may fake an affiliation with their religion out of fear in some instances, but what goes on in their personal mind can be vastly different.

No. They would be killed. Islam is not a tolerant religion. Either you believe 100% or you die.
