Remember that scene in Star Wars when one of Vader's admirals was heckling him telling him he couldn't scare him with his ancient religion... Vader proceeded to force choke him.

That seems like a pretty convincing piece of evidence that his religion was something real... If Christians, Muslims, or any other religious group could force choke us atheists there would be more incentive to believe don't you think?

"I find your lack of faith disturbing".

No it wouldn't God has done that many times before, and it only made their hearts more hardned than they were before.

Just look at the Book of Exodus and God's dealing with Pharoh, it made no difference.

I really believe that when God reveals Himself , That Atheist's will Shake their fist, Gnash their teeth spitting and cursing and screaming at God with words like this "How dare you proove you exist!!! How dare you!!!, even as God Throws them into hell, they will still do it as they have such a hatred towards any thing about God.

When Joesph Stalin Died on his deathbed, the last thing he did was look up and shake his fist at God, in one last act of defiance.

It is actually called Manicheanism, life is an ongoing struggle between good and evil, the two sides of the life force. It's really not all that far fetched, however, Hollywood gave him those force choking powers.

That's a great scene! Scared the pants off me when I was a kid.

Just like there's great power in the Dark Side, there's great power in the Devil, too. Christians can speak in tongues, prophesy, ect. But if they could force choke someone I would tend to think they're using devil spirits for that, not the power of God.

"I find this lack of faith... disturbing." Effectively choking Tagge using the Force until Grand Moff Tarkin tells him the bickering amongst themselves is pointless... however I don't see it as much of an incentive... all it illustrates is that they're capable of using "force" to push their agenda...

BTW you do not desire to refrain from having another sip of your beer.

No Jedi mind trick is going to work here... LOL.

Very true. And, you know those Jedi's used their mind control powers to score with the ladies.

"You will go home with me tonight."

"you will pleasure me in ways that would make Ron Jeremy blush".

They are using the force on us literally by trying to pass laws based on their beliefs and the bible, by trying to teach biblical creation in our schools and trying to redefine the word "secular" to mean "atheistic" (they are two different things but Christians and other believers link them together).

To me, that is worse than a physical choking... they are choking my freedom to not believe.

I still wouldn't see any reason to think that a concept like "god", a logically impossible concept, exists.

Superpowers are cool, though. Vader was the man.

if "god" actually did something for me and said it was god or jesus who did it then i might reconsider my position on religion and how BS it is.
