I think a vodka gimlet is great.
A nice Merlot or Cabernet is great too.
I think a drink is fine.
I think to get bashed is not.
I always have two drinks when we go out.
A vodka gimlet before and a nice full bodied wine with the meal.
I don't like white wines however.

I'm a Pagan. My religion doesn't have laws concerning such things. Personally, I don't have a problem with alcohol so long as it isn't abused to the point of harming oneself or others.

As per hinduism, alcohol (or any intoxicant) is banned for those who are into Yoga and Meditation... or those who are living life of ascetic
for others...there is no real ban, rather Kshtriyas (the warriors) are encouraged to eat meat and drink (of course in limits)

The bible says in Ephesians 5:18 "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit."
personally, one glass of sweet wine to keep your heart healthy is not all bad.

Jesus is my church and those who are believers are the member of the church, it is not a building down the street.
Jesus drank wine, Jesus turned water into wine. The bible says that as long as it is used in moderation it is OK but that excess is harmful and damaging.

Wicca only has one rule, the Wiccan Rede: "An in it harm none, do as you wish"
If you wish to drink alcohol that is fine, but do it responsibly. Don't drink and drive.

Buddhism, and we're to refrain from alcohol or any other substances that mess with your mind... however prescribed medications are expected to be used as prescribed... common sense kind of thing.

protestant and alcohol is a no no ive tried bargaining but theres no grey area its no alcohol im getting used to the idea

The Holy Bible is clear. You can drink but don't get drunk.
Personally, I don't like the taste, so for me...it's not an issue.
