Because some humans turned back into microbes afterwards because they couldn't deal with science. They didn't like sex much either, and miotic splitting seemed a lot more Godly.

Probably the same reason there are still "primates" since we evolved from that to this also. So why am I STILL looking at un-evolved man at the zoo and on Wild Kingdom???

let me fill you in on something. The bible may explain everything in a single sentence which normally involves the answer as being 'god' but evolution is a lot more complex. I have a feeling even If somebody explained these things to you, you would continue to disreagrd them!
