now, the bible tells you not to believe in the paranoral...correct?

Well, How can you disprove something that has more evidence, than that of your religion??? perhaps because in those days whichcraft and magic, freaked them all out???

Seems to me, the bible has covered it's back really well, if something doesn't make sense, it tells us that's ok, because it's not the same logic we use on earth.....there's an answer for everything and if all else fails,... well theres always that handy little one liner "go to hell!"

it would be lovely sometimes if you said "d'ya know what....I really don't know, what that means or why that is!" Maybe we're not supposed to know it all??

Isn't it better to just be honest and go tell your priest you are messing up? Doesn't honesty make it easier to ask for help?

Okay, I have thought this over throughly, and I still don't see why some Christians get so upset over homosexuality. I get that it is a sin, so is lying, swearing, and sloth, but you don't see nearly as many people getting all outraged about them. According to Christianity, we all sin, and all sins can be forgiven with the exception of blaspheming the holy spirit. Jesus spoke about not judging and not pointing out other people's sin alot. He said judge not lest ye be judged, let he who is without sin throw the first stone, and to take the log out of your own eye before you pick the speck of sawdust out of your brother's. So, why do I see alot of Christians going around preaching about how evil homosexuality is, and making it out to be a more horrible in than the rest of the sins? Don't these people also sin, what makes their sins any better? What gives them the right to point out someone else's sin, when according to their own religion, everyone is a sinner?

I saw an interview of the filmaker the other night. Nice fellow. Apparently backer of film insisted on getting several statastitions not just one, not taking any money for his part, insisted on thorough research, reasons for bones left there more to do with belief than science or history. Interesting.

If you are a Christain, how would you deal with it if it was proven absolutely, that it was Jesus of Nazareth? I am not saying that this evidance does that. However if it did, would you be able to adjust your faith and pray harder or go into a tail spin? Would Christian churches disband or evolve? Or, more than likely, rufute?

You say that gay couple should not be able to adopt a child because the gay life style is perverted and wrong because it says so in the bible or wherever.

So would you would rather a child stay in an orphanage until they turn 18?

Or would you rather them stay in a situation with a man and woman (as you say it should be) while they are getting abused sexually and or physically.

Or how about have them stay with a couple of alcoholics or drug abusers.

I just really don't understand your thinking. As long as a gay couple is capable of loving that child and giving them a good upbringing why should it matter if they're gay?
There are plenty of straight couples who aren't even half as capable of being parents, but in your mind they're should have the child because their relationship is "natural".

I am in no shape or form currently ill..thank god..but its something that will come to us all. I would like to be cremated because I dont want my children to have a grave to attend to and I dont want the thougt of them standing at the grave side in tears! I dont think they should be put upon, to have to visit on birthdays, motherdays, christmas ect...I want them to remember me in their hearts and not at the graveside. So as a catholic would my religion accept my choice?

I was talking with a pentecostal person who said they pray in "tongues." They said they don't know what they're praying for, but the holy ghost does know what they're saying....

Why would you need to pray if god/holy spirit already knows....

This makes no sense to me, and sounds like classic circular thinking. But, in effort to understand, if possible, ...

Ok... Why is it that I am getting messages from people who hate me because i am a lesbian?...and for the fact that i was once muslim, and now Christian.... A group of people invents a fairytale, and start to claim it's true.

Another group of people just lived their lives, had no interest in that fairytale what-so-ever.

Then the fairytale somehow became part of everybodies laws, and the people who never had any interest in the silly fairytale needed to start claiming they didn't believe in the fairytale. All of a sudden they were a 'group', and they never even started that group.

Then the fairytale believers started to claim that this 'group' of 'unbelievers' had no morals, because they didn't believe in the fairytale.

Planet Earth is a silly planet, really.
