who is the chosen one mentioned in isaiah 42?

that the inhabitants of the people where kedar(the son of ishmael) lived (arabia) will glorify God because of him?

I know, just wondering of people like JC Redding know.

He was talking about Christ. He was speaking Messianically, which is a form of poetry. Also a prophecy about the life of Christ. Isaiah is always hard to follow because of the way he words things. I've always found reading it a challenge.
