Christian at time before getting to know that person?? I have met more clos minded athisits than I have Christians lately. that seem to think that all Christians ant to "push their beliefs" on them any time they are nice, or they do something that is kind. what is with that?? can someone explain this?? I have friends from every walk of life. And it irritates me when I cross someone that classifies me as a close mided person when they find out I am a christain.

My friend has this terrible habit of making fun of mentally challenged people, as he so kindly refers to them as retards. For instance he threw food on the ground just so one of the MH kids could come over pick it up and eat it. He did this several times and he says, quote on quote, "they are a race, a disease". please help me find a way to tell this kid who says hes a christian, that its a sin to make fun of someone, in a mean way, thats mentally challenged. I'm looking specifically for a Bible verse that will persuade this immature boy that he is doing something that is both equally immature and wrong.

Would that be north of Isreal or just as God is always spoken of as being from the north?
(Isaiah 41:25) 25 “I have roused up [someone] from the north, and he will come. From the rising of the sun he will call upon my name. And he will come upon deputy rulers as [if they were] clay and just as a potter that tramples down the moist material.

(Isaiah 14:12-14) 12 “O how you have fallen from heaven, you shining one, son of the dawn! How you have been cut down to the earth, you who were disabling the nations! 13 As for you, you have said in your heart, ‘To the heavens I shall go up. Above the stars of God I shall lift up my throne, and I shall sit down upon the mountain of meeting, in the remotest parts of the north. 14 I shall go up above the high places of the clouds; I shall make myself resemble the Most High.’

(Daniel 11:40-12:2) 40 “And in the time of [the] end the king of the south will engage with him in a pushing, and against him the king of the north will storm with chari

Not just from a religious perspective.

Ok, so "freely choosing" means "choosing what we think to be best". But how often is that which we thought to be best, actually best? How often do we not miss vital information before making a choice? How often do we not possess false information?

And if all this - what's the big deal of being able to choose what we like?...

As of when, exactly?? Because some users here say we're in the "End of Days" already (namely JC Penney, I mean, Redding).

End of Days, as far as I recall, has been around since I was a kid (yet another reason why I cannot simply stoop low enough to believe this nonsense).

18There is no fear in love. But perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
