Free will is not an issue of value ,right, wrong or even a Love
concept as often expressed. Free will is simply how thing are and how the universe works. Everything is driven by balanced
or unbalanced relationships and the Universe is always striving to balance everything that is unbalanced.

What the Idea of "free will" accomplishes is; It keeps you virtually powerless, by keeping you focused on the wrong means of choice. It says you have all choices, which is wrong, you have limited choice depending on what you really value. If you want to grow and make better choices you must look at what you really value, if you make harmful choices, like smoking, you really value suffering, or abuse. There is no will that is free to be someone else.
Beware of organizations that support freewill, for they don't want you to flourish, they want the group to flourish at your expense.

God created man a rational being, conferring on him the dignity of a person who can initiate and control his own actions.
"God willed that man should be 'left in the hand of his own counsel,' so that he might of his own accord seek his Creator and freely attain his full and blessed perfection by cleaving to him."
In other words, God has set down a law of love and He (or She) has been written this law onto our hearts.
We have been given free will and responsibility.
We can choose to follow the law of love, be happy, and be with God forever.
Or we can choose to break the law of love, be miserable, and be separated from God forever.
God will respect our free will choice.
With love in Christ.
