Religion & Spirituality - 15 March 2007

This is something I cannot understand at all. Can somone who is Islamic answer this question for me. Don't both sects serve Allah and would Allah be happy with one follower killing another follower?

I guess the same could be said with any religion but it is harder for me to understand with Islam because of there very strong bond with Allah.

If you want to go skiing, you would talk to a ski instructor.

If you want to plan a vacation, you would talk to a travel agent.

If you want to learn Spanish, you would talk to a native speaker of Spanish.

Why then would you not ask a Muslim about Islam, but rather let the media make your decision for you?

Dont you think that a little hypocritical judging me for that one trait. I have good morals and that should be what matters. Infact I love religon i love what it can do for some people. But the one thing they didnt think of is the judgement that i religon might put on people.

I grew up Catholic but now i'm confused on which is the right path. I know in the end I have to make that decision. But, I've read information online and that helped a bit. I need answers from the real people themselves and their views on things.

Would you like to see a drastic drop in murders, muggings, break ins?
Would you like to deal a heavy blow to the Maffia, gangs, and terrrorists?
Would you like safer streets and neighbourhoods?
Would you like society to have more money to help addicts break their dependence?

All this can be achieved by legalizing, taxing, and regulating all drugs. As a consequence drug prices would drop and trafickers could as well traffick strawberries cause drugs would be just another commodity.
Addicts would not need to comit crimes to feed their habit therefore streets would be safe.
Gov. would collect revenue to give help to addicts.
If more people initially try drugs this would be a very time limited thing cause a spike in overdoses would scare people in the same way gays were scared at the start of the AIDS epidemic into adopting safe sex practices. There would always be hooked up people but not more and probably less than there are now. Nothing would be glamorous about using drugs

I'm not interested in converting to paganism or hearing put downs about paganism, I am simply interested in knowing what it is so I can better understand those who refer to themselves as "pagan" Thankyou :)
Oh, and I am not googling it because I want to hear the explanation from some actual praticing pagans, not a dictionary definition.

This is a very controvercial issue that has been discussed worldwide. Some say that "Hijab" the head cover is a must in Islam while some others say it's just Sunna. Sunna means that you don't commit a sin if you don't do it. I read an article written by Her Majesty Queen Rania about that and it was very critical and interesting. I need more about it.

I feel that angels do exist here on earth. And that they can come in human or animal form? I've heard of many stories where an animal has saved someone's life, or even how a newborn baby saved someone.
Example: This guy was so racist towards blacks and his daughter ended up pregnant by a black guy. When he had found out, all hell had broke loose. He wanted nothing to do with her. But then she had the baby and the baby was born with sooo many health complications. Now, I don't know if it was cause the dr. had diagnosed that she wouldn't live past the age of 4. But this guy somehow developed a heart. He held the baby and really embraced her. There were tears all around.
Anyway, the child is 16 now, and is healthy as can be and she LOVES her grandpa.
So, I definately believe in angels.
