If you want to go skiing...?

If you want to go skiing, you would talk to a ski instructor.

If you want to plan a vacation, you would talk to a travel agent.

If you want to learn Spanish, you would talk to a native speaker of Spanish.

Why then would you not ask a Muslim about Islam, but rather let the media make your decision for you?

Of course, I would ask some Muslims to have various viewpoints, I would also read the Qur'an and get acquainted with the history of Islam and the life conditions in the Arabic peninsula during the lifetime of the Prophet Mohammad.

People don't ask Muslims because Muslims can't agree with one another (and believe me I know this because I am Muslim). We have the Sunni who believe in one side and the Shi'a who believe in another and then about ten other small sects who have completely different beliefs than either Sunni or Shi'a. If people ask a Sunni something, they will be told one thing and then if they meet a Shi'a and say what the Sunni told them, then the Shi'a will probably tell them they are wrong. So since we as Muslims can't agree on anything, they listen to Fox News instead and it corrupts Islam in their minds.

You have a point. But do you know, those who want to know about Islam, go to a lot of trouble to read the Quran & the Hadith and try to understand the religion. They not only do not get confused over the information available from various sources but also have the ability to understand the correctness of the source with guidance from Allah swt.

well i dont want to ski i know a little spanish mostly bad words and im broke so no vacation and i have talked to muslims and i could care less they are as deluded by myths and legends just like the chirstians

i have asked muslims and i have read books for and against islam and its not cool i seen some lady on here she is 20 and her husband is from saudi arabia and older than her he has a wife in his home country and she doesnt want to go there cause she is afraid that he will leave her and take the kids and she said she doesnt go outside with out her husband she cant talk to other men she is i think brainwashed and michael jackson and mohammed have a perdeliction for underage *** if you didnt get my question and god the biggest hoax in human kind i mean with all the evidence agaisnt this deity people still believe in the myth that this being exists in the 15 years i have looked for hard evidence it exists i have yet to find one that is true so if you have proof that this god exists id like to see it until then faith isnt fact

Just like what are you doing set an example??
Telling us, we are doing something wrong???
You seem to sitting in the free world trying to defend what we see as evil.
You seem to fail to see peace is offered, democracy commerce, education and freedom, economic aid
WHAT happens???
Why can't muslims just commit suicide on them selves or give it all up and find another religion where they can be at peace??

Exactly, they should ask a Muslim, but one who has the correct Tawheed, Aqeedah, Man Hajj, Imaan, and all of that Good Stuff.

my boyfriend taught me how to ski , I find my own travels much cheaper then a travel agent , I don't like Spanish but speak three languages , and will have absolutely nothing to do with your religion - ever! there will be my death before my conversion!
