First you are alive, praising God or not, being an atheist or not. The point of probability is ok, If you really was gone ( the least I wish you) and ask us that question from other dimension, no matter Hell or Heaven or other..

how can you be an atheist and ask if god 'allowed' you to live too long. I think that you are posing as an atheist. A capital offense in the high court of consciousness.

Were you Baptized "back then"? If you were - you were indelibly marked by God for all time. Yep. That's what happens with Baptism - it conveys "Sacramental Character" - God does the work in you.

That act made you a Christian for all time. You might be a very bad Christian. A non-believing Christian, even. But a Christian, none-the-less.

In other words - see you in Purgatory. I'll save you a seat.

God has a plan for all of our lives and he gave us free will to go along with his will or not. to me, if you want to go to heaven you can...he gave us that choice. if you choose not to live for God you cannot go to heaven...you still have a choice of going to heaven. its not hard to do and there is no down side to it.

Good point. i think people believe "god" interlopes in our lives but in reality our world is what we make of it. god didn't help you win the lottery, god didn't protect you from cancer, and god didn't make a hurricane go through new orleans to smite the wrong doers.

No. You were meant to become an Atheist. You'll find your way back to heaven in due time. This lifetime is a learning experience (as they all are). This is as it was meant to be, Sho-Nuff.

Once you've accepted Christ into your heart, you're saved. No matter what you've decided now, you once believed Christ existed and therefore, you are saved. You are now held accountable for your sins, however. You know better, and are supposed to be better. Besides that, who knows in 20 more years you might believe in God again?!

* zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz * zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz *

God just showed you grace by giving you more time to repent and see the errors of your ways.

Besides - if you were really an athiest, you wouldn't believe in God doing anything - quit being a troll poser.

;)
