Yes. The whole system should be modeled on Leave It To Beaver.
This means: (1) Kids constantly talk about their parents "clobbering" them; (2) women vacuum in high heels; (3) the man of the house always retires to the study, wearing a sweater, when his kids need to come and talk about something; (4) all non-picket fences are out.

In the Judeo-Christian version of marriage, divorce is not a crime. We should make stupidity and ignorance a crime.

Actually I'm starting up lobbying for animal sacrifice again and killing unruly children along with a few other Judeo-Christian concepts... multiple marriages are JUST the beginning friend. Well it's in the BIBLE!

Even if that were true (since I've never heard of a religion that allows same sex marriages) Jews can get a divorce. So can Protestants and Muslims for that matter. Catholics are the only ones who don't believe in divorce.

good point, it should be banned by those standards or people should be excommunicated cause they vow before God and witnesses to stay together til death do us part and basically lied in the house of God and to God in front of every one,the ultimate forsaking and disrespect for their religion and God is like the ultimate form of hypocrisy.
I am not religious but people need to walk their talk or shut up and stop working so hard to impose their will and values on the rest of society

Divorce was not permitted for a long time.
It was looked on as a bad think by society. You would look like a pariah.
In the 1800's it didn't happen too often in the U.S.

Case in point: you are supposed to get divorced in Judaism if you are not happy in your marriage.

Divorce is in the Bible But Jesus lays out the reasons for it. Then he says but this law was made because of your sinfulness. In the Catholic Church the word divorce is not recognized. I think it should be the say everywhere. but that is my own opinion.

I think people need to understand there vows and be mature enough to commit to them before they take them. That would end the divorce rates. I don't think it should be a crime. Don't you think we have enough law already?
