You show an enthusiasm for your practised awakening awareness, allow me a small smile for your happiness, may it continue and flourish beyond you and about you and may others share it's positive consequence.
Be careful with enthusiasm though, others may not understand or even wish to. This simply stated is meant to remind you of Right Intention and Right Speech, a small criticism only, humble is the Middle Path, others may follow as they will and all can share as they can.
Your awareness will encompass others and with your compassion they will benefit from your happiness with no need for any to know the intervention.
You ask the question ...why...? It is because it isn't necessary, many are already on the Path albeit without guidance or knowledge, this itself is a cause for joy, be happy for others and show compassion, this will light the Path for others without the need for enthusiastic guidance if you follow me.
Be at peace my friend, your intent is honourable but misunderstanding and therefore suffering is often subtly the result.
Peace from a Buddhist....

The old joke about buddhism is that the cure is worse than the disease.
Many people have serious questions about cultivating detachment which sounds like losing all the pleasure as well as the suffering.
Also, buddhist practices, like sitting zazen, take a long time ot master an are not easy to follow. So it's not for everyone.

Technically, "the way" (which all religion takes root in) in it's oldest and purist form has the same principles as Buddhism. People just can't use that to gain societal control, so they distort the meaning of the original faith which is, for all practical purposes, more of a philosophy than a religion.
PS: That's a good thing. Religion is a monster.

I respect many of the teachings of Buddhism. However, Reincarnation to me is something that does not make sense at all.
I know that some sects of Buddhisim (mainly Shin, I believe)- dont focus on the reincarnation aspect of the faith- but the Universal unity of all beings-- but My faith in God and the judgement is too great to really grasp the concept of having a reincarnated soul- but if it makes sense to you- ok then...

A real Buddhist wouldn't be trying to convince others to be a buddhist. You should be accepting that people have differences, and continue on your path; don't try to shove everyone on your road, or it'll get clogged.

It can also be said with at least as much validity that becoming a pastafarian makes so much sense.
Zen arguably makes more sense than buddhism. Why not choose Zen ?

To be honest, it doesn't offer me all the things I feel I need from a spiritual belief. Shintoism comes pretty close, but all up, I'm happy the way I am. I'm just a simple, happy, Animist.
Thank you for sharing with me that you are happy in your chosen faith. I am glad for you.
