Muhammad, unlike the Christ or the Prophet Moses, is never said to have conversed directly with God. In fact, it posits the existence of Gabriel (angel of the Annunciation) as some kind of go-between. Given that the Koran is a mixture of Old/New Testament sources, how can Islam still consider it inviolate in any possible way? When will literary criticism and scholarly redaction tear the myth to shreds...

If there's only ONE God, and Jesus is God, then who was Jesus speaking to when he was praying, and when he was at the Cross about to die?

As far as I know, he couldn't have been praying to himself (that would make no sense in any Christian doctrine), and while giving up his spirit at the cross, he spoke to the Father as a separate entity/person. Could this mean that there are two or more Christian Gods, and that the Ancient Text Translators made a few minor mistakes? At least this would explain many of the errors found in the Bible.

SERIOUS RESPONSES ONLY, PLEASE.

If God doesn't see the difference, why should the law, and if you have only the bible to go on to know that rape is wrong because it is 'fornication', than how do you make the distinction that rape is a crime against humanity, and how do you compare premarital sex to this?

I have two questions.

1. I asked this question before and it was not shown - it was taken off - why?

2. My first question was - I'll shorten it this time. I saw a man abuse a puppy infront of the school including infront of my 7 year old son. He was hitting, choaking and kicking the puppy. No one did anything - even myself, mainly because I'm a woman and he is a man and aggresive- but thoughts of running over him with my car came into my mind - I just want to know If I am a bad person to thinking things like that

before you say they are just in it for the research funding, remember that the creationist "think tanks" are probably paying more and that "Dr. Dino" Kent Hovind made millions before going to jail (albeit not paying taxes helped)

Ive seen Christians bash all Muslims based on the actions of a few Muslim extremists but when you bash all Christians based on a few Christian extremists(abortion clinic bombers) they get angry.
Same with the Muslims.
Besides, i thought God said not to judge.

It's called Sensism.

The idea is to get you off having to go to things like manual handling courses, community awareness training and the like.

The main tennets are that if you can look into your spiritual self and feel that your common sense can help you deal suitably with a situation, you should not have to listen to some other git telling you what to do and how to do it.

As it would be politically incorrect to force somebody to attend courses/training at work when the content of such directly insults that person's religion, you would not be forced to have to go and spend a day with some bearded git called Rodger showing you how to utilise a stepladder etc.

What do you think?
